East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov to Present State of the Township on Tuesday, October 15

East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov will deliver the annual State of East Windsor Township Address on Tuesday, October 15 at an event commencing at 5:00 P.M., at the East Windsor Senior Center, 40 Lanning Boulevard, East Windsor.

Mayor Mironov's annual address will include a report on accomplishments in 2018 and 2019 as well as Township goals for this year. Mayor Mironov's topics will include new business and commercial development updates, budget and financial subjects, Township recreation and senior services projects, local roadway and safety improvements, environmental initiatives, and other local topics of interest.

Mayor Mironov stated, "East Windsor continues to be a vibrant, progressive community with much positive business growth, including redevelopment of the former National Lead site now tenanted by Modway Furniture, Hovione’s significant expansion, Novitium Pharma’s expansion, the start-up of Fordoz Pharma, the projected growth of A.J. Madison at a new location, and multiple developments along Wyckoff Mills Road in the New Jersey Turnpike area.”

The Township strives to provide a welcoming environment in which taxpayers and local businesses can thrive. We look to best position East Windsor to retain and grow high value high quality business and to provide exemplary services and programs to best serve our residents. Mayor Mironov stated, “I look forward to sharing our achievements and future plans with the local business community."

Mayor Mironov will address many other major Township accomplishments and initiatives including: positive financial news, development of an alternative truck route to bypass Probasco Road, expansion of the Township Senior Center, the extension of the Union Transportation Trail, Anker Park improvements, and new open space and environmental initiatives. 

East Windsor offers business advantages including a central location in New Jersey with quick access to East Windsor Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike and to Interstate Routes 195, 295 and Route 1. There is also a wide variety of attractive well valued commercial, office and industrial sites in the Township as well as a diverse and highly skilled work force. The major development corridors in the Township are the Routes 571/535 campus corridors, the Route 130 retail corridor and the NJ Turnpike/Route 33 corridor with both commercial and retail areas.

The Mayor’s State of the Township event on Tuesday, October 15 begins with networking at 5:00 P.M., and the formal program begins promptly at 5:45 P.M.  Light refreshments will be served.  All businesses and interested members of the community are invited to attend.
