Firearms forms/applications are available from the communications section twenty-fours hours a day, seven days a week as well as online.

Fingerprinting is available every Tuesday by appointment. Appointments will be taken up to one week in advance.  All persons are expected to be at Police Headquarters on time as appointments are made in 15 minute blocks (30 minutes for firearms). Any person arriving late may forfeit their appointment for that day. The East Windsor Township Police Department reserves the right to cancel appointments at any time due to unexpected emergency assignments.

Fingerprinting may be done at others times without an appointment based on the availability of personnel. Walk-in fingerprint applicants may experience delays.  To avoid any inconvenience we still recommend making appointments during the hours listed above.

Fingerprinting is performed for for employment, securities, Federal/State licenses, etc. The individual must provide the following items:

  • Fingerprint Cards
  • Two (2) forms of identification
  • Payment of $10.00 (cash, check, money order)

Fingerprinting  IS NOT  done for immigration purposes. All immigration fingerprinting must be performed by USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) at one of the following locations:
