NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids for the Supply and Installation of a HVAC Water Treatment System for the East Windsor Township Police/Municipal Court Building and Two Hot Water Circulating Pumps for the East Windsor Township Municipal Building will be received by the East Windsor Township Municipal Clerk’s Office on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the East Windsor Municipal Building, 16 Lanning Boulevard, East Windsor, at which time all bids will be opened and read in public.

Specifications and bid forms are on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk and may be obtained by prospective bidders at said office during regular business hours – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.


Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact the Municipal Clerk’s Office at (609) 443-4000, extension 237, or via email at clerk@east-windsor.nj.us to obtain specifications and bid forms.  

 

All bidders are encouraged to submit bids via certified mail, overnight delivery or drop-off on or before the bid opening date and time.  Hand delivered packages can be deposited 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the secure drop mail box in the front of the Municipal Building, or left in the front door vestibule area.  


All persons wishing to attend the public in-person bid opening must abide by the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.  Specifically, all participants may be required to have their mouth and nose covered at all times with a mask or cloth covering, and while inside the Municipal Building, must maintain a minimum of six feet separation from other attendees.  Masks will be provided to any attendee who needs one.  


Bidders who cannot or do not wish to attend the bid opening in-person can listen to a live broadcast of the bid opening via teleconference.  The teleconference can be accessed on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. by calling (712) 770-8097, conference code: 994584.  Following the conclusion of the bid opening, all bids received by the Township will be posted on the Township’s website, www.east-windsor.nj.us, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021.


Bid opening in-person attendees who wish to review the submitted bids following the conclusion of the bid opening will be allowed to do so, one person at a time.   


All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bond in the amount of 10% of the total price proposed, but not in excess of $20,000.  Bids must be in a sealed envelope addressed to the “EAST WINDSOR MUNICIPAL CLERK” and clearly marked on the outside: Installation of a HVAC Water Treatment System for the East Windsor Township Police/Municipal Court Building and Two Hot Water Circulating Pumps for the East Windsor Township Municipal Building.


All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27, as described in the specifications.


The Township of East Windsor reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities as the interest of the Township may require.

 NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids for the Resurfacing and Associated Repairs to Oak Branch Road, Pinehurst Drive, Piney Branch Road and Warren Drive will be received by the East Windsor Township Municipal Clerk’s Office on Thursday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, at the East Windsor Municipal Building, 16 Lanning Boulevard, East Windsor, at which time said bids will be opened and read in public.


Specifications and bid forms are on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk and may be obtained by prospective bidders at said office during regular business hours – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact the Municipal Clerk’s Office at (609) 443-4000, extension 237, or via email at clerk@east-windsor.nj.us to obtain specifications and bid forms.
