HEALTH OFFICER / INSPECTOR

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-time position. Oversee the operations and budgets of all services within the health department: communicable disease, emergency preparedness, health education, childhood and adult immunization program, epidemiology,environmental inspections, food and drug establishment inspections and Vital Statistics. Plans and establishes Health Department programs and services, reviews all Department activities, ensures compliance with public health statutes and regulations, and performs complex professional and administrative work; well and septic inspections; housing inspections. This position works with established policies and procedures of the Township. The Health Officer/Inspector responsible for planning, designing prioritizing and scheduling their own work including field inspections and the work of health department employees. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS; Possession of a valid Health Officer License issued by the NJ Department of Health, Registered Environmental Health Specialist License and possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license. ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

DEPUTY MUNICIPAL COURT ADMINISTRATOR

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Perform the functions assigned by the Court Administrator and the Municipal Court Judge in conformance with the rules,regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the operation of the Court and the Administrative Office of the Courts. Assists in managing the administrative and specialized operations of the Court and assists in supervising employees. Performs related work as required. High School diploma or an approved High School Equivalency Certificate required. SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK/TAX OFFICE- EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP

Mercer County Full-time, 35 hour work week position. Communication Workers of America Union position. Works under the direction of the Tax Collector and Finance Director. Substantial public interaction. Requires computer skills and mathematical aptitude. Tax collection office experience valuable.  Responsibilities include receiving and processing tax payments, maintaining taxpayer records and files , looking up needed tax information, assisting with tax sale preparation, and managing phone calls and correspondence. BUS DRIVERS

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-Time Bus Driver (35 hr work week) and On-Call Part-Time Bus Drivers for the East Windsor Township Senior Center. The Bus is used to transport participants to various area location appointments, as well as trips for recreational purposes. Oversees use of Bus per Township schedule and requirements. Requires a valid New Jersey Bus Drivers License with CDL Class A or B License with a passenger endorsement. SEASONAL EMPLOYEE - PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

40-hour work week, working outdoors, performing manual heavy labor in all weather conditions. Limited employment durations and release at the end of the season is expected. PROBATIONARY POLICE OFFICER

The East Windsor Township Police Department is currently seeking candidates for the position of Probationary Police Officer. Following are the requirements of the position:

  • Be a citizen of the United States of America

  • Be a resident of the State of New Jersey at time of appointment

  • Be more than 21 and less than 35 years of age at time of appointment

  • Be sound in body and of good health sufficient to satisfy the Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System of New Jersey that such person is eligible to membership in the retirement system

  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently

  • Be of good moral character and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude

  • Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license

Applicants must possess a Full New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification for Basic Course for Police Officers or Basic Course for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer. A copy of the candidate's Police Training Certificate must accompany each resume / cover letter.
