COVID 19- GENERALIST (CVG)

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-time, 35 hour workweek, non-union position. CVG assists with COVID-19 work assignments, outreach to vulnerable populations, points of dispensing planning, logistics, testing, contact tracing, and developing implementing community vaccine clinics. Assists the Vulnerable Person Outreach Coordinator to ensure at-risk  residents have access to support services such as housing, insurance coverage and unemployment compensation for necessary support. Assist the assessment of vulnerable population in their jurisdictions and develop a strategic plan to test, contact trace, contain, mitigate and prevent COVID-19 in these populations. Assist the Vulnerable Person Outreach Coordinator  to oversee the implementation  of the strategic plan to  provide public testing, services and education, to ensure timely testing , contact tracing of COVID-19. Other duties as assigned by the Health Officer. Associates Degree or higher in public health, public administration, social work, nursing or other health related field is preferred. PART-TIME PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Primary responsibility is to assist the East Windsor Health Department with COVID-19 activities including but not limited to working with department staff to plan and implement vaccination and testing clinics as well as conducting contact tracing. Minimum of 10 hours per week and must be flexible to work weekends and evenings as necessary. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a NJ Registered Professional Nurse License required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. One year of  experience in a public health field or, one year of nursing experience gained while working under the close supervision of a licensed public health nurse. Prior experience with COVID-19  public health response preferred, but not required. SENIOR ACCOUNTS AND CONTROLS CLERK

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-time position. This position is represented by the Communication Workers of America , Local 1032. Under the direction of the CFO/Finance Director, performs the routine work involved in accounting and satisfying all of the Township Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts. Process purchase requisitions from various departments, process vouchers for payment, prepare bills list and checks, maintain vendor file and budget account file, run monthly,quarterly and yearly budget reports, obtain state-contract pricing on office supply vendors,process daily cash receipts from various departments.  Possession of a valid NJ drivers license , mathematical aptitude required. Experience in operation of Finance Department. Computer literacy and utilization and experience with Edmunds Software program preferred. HEALTH OFFICER/INSPECTOR- HEALTH DEPARTMENT

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-time position. Oversee the operations and budgets for all services within the the Health Department: communicable disease, emergency preparedness, health education, childhood and adult immunization program, epidemiology, environmental inspections, food and drug establishment inspection and Vital Statistics. Plans and establishes Health Department programs and services, reviews all Department activities, ensures compliance with public health statutes and regulations, and performs complex professional and administrative work; well and septic inspections ;housing inspections. This position works with established policies and procedures of the Township.  The Health Officer /Inspector is responsible for planning, designing, prioritizing and scheduling the work of the health department employees. FIRE SUBCODE OFFICIAL/BUILDING INSPECTOR /MECHANICAL INSPECTOR: 

East Windsor Township, Mercer County - Full-time position represented by CWA Local #1032. This position is responsible for enforcement of Chapter 23 of the Uniform Construction Code, performing construction plan reviews, permit inspections, completing inspection reports, and and general departmental duties as required and directed by the Construction Official. Qualified candidate requirements: New Jersey State License Fire Subcode/HHS, New Jersey Building Inspector License/RCS, Mechanical License and Plumbing/ICS. Substantial public interaction. Requires computer skills and mathematical aptitude. Tax collection office experience valuable.  Responsibilities include receiving and processing tax payments, maintaining taxpayer records and files , looking up needed tax information, assisting with tax sale preparation, and managing phone calls and correspondence. BUS DRIVERS

East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-Time Bus Driver (35 hr work week) and On-Call Part-Time Bus Drivers for the East Windsor Township Senior Center. The Bus is used to transport participants to various area location appointments, as well as trips for recreational purposes. Oversees use of Bus per Township schedule and requirements. Requires a valid New Jersey Bus Drivers License with CDL Class A or B License with a passenger endorsement.
