SECRETARY 2/REGISTRAR VITAL STATISTICS - HEALTH DEPARTMENT -  East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-time position.  Serves as the liaison between the public and the health department. Substantial public interaction. Processes and schedules housing appointments. Prepares all department documents and correspondence. Prepares and processes vouchers and requisitions. Purchases and maintains office supplies and equipment. Processes all departmental mail. Monitors incoming health, housing and environmental calls and directs them to staff members for assistance and/or action. Process all applications and permits for Retail Food Establishments, Vending Machine Permits, Swimming Pool Permits and Septic and Well Permits. Prepares and issues all Vital Statistic documents including, but not limited to Marriage, Civil Unions, Domestic Partnerships, Burial Permits, Death Certificates, Birth Certificates and Still Born Certificates in a manner prescribed by State regulations. BUS DRIVERS- East Windsor Township, Mercer County. Full-Time Bus Driver (35 hr work week) and On-Call Part-Time Bus Drivers for the East Windsor Township Senior Center. The Bus is used to transport participants to various area location appointments, as well as trips for recreational purposes. Oversees use of Bus per Township schedule and requirements. Requires a valid New Jersey Bus Drivers License with CDL Class A or B License with a passenger endorsement. SEASONAL EMPLOYEE - PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

40-hour work week, working outdoors, performing manual heavy labor in all weather conditions. Limited employment durations and release at the end of the season is expected. PROBATIONARY POLICE OFFICER

The East Windsor Township Police Department is currently seeking candidates for the position of Probationary Police Officer. Following are the requirements of the position:

  • Be a citizen of the United States of America
  • Be a resident of the State of New Jersey at time of appointment
  • Be more than 21 and less than 35 years of age at time of appointment
  • Be sound in body and of good health sufficient to satisfy the Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System of New Jersey that such person is eligible to membership in the retirement system
  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently
  • Be of good moral character and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude
  • Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license

Applicants must possess a Full New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification for Basic Course for Police Officers or Basic Course for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer. A copy of the candidate's Police Training Certificate must accompany each resume / cover letter.
