Brothers BBQ Opens in Carduner Center at Route 130 and Route 571 in East Windsor Township

Mayor Janice S. Mironov, joined by Deputy Mayor Peter Yeager, Council Members Marc Lippman, Perry Shapiro, John Zoller, and restaurant owner Nicholas DeMola, celebrated the grand opening of Brothers BBQ in the Carduner Center at Route 130 and 571.

Brothers BBQ, occupying 2,000 square feet in the rear building, is a sit down and take-out restaurant specializing in barbeque dishes of ribs, chicken and pulled pork, as well as traditional offerings as hot dogs, burgers, corned beef, pastrami and roast beef. A family owned business, Brothers BBQ uses recipes handed down from generation to generation over the last 65 years. Owner Nicholas DeMola inherited the barbeque recipes from his grandfather, a successful chef from New York’s Little Italy who, as legend has it, won them in a best of three game of checkers against the owner of a small barbecue restaurant he stopped at while traveling through Mississippi. Current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 11 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 11 am to 9 pm, and closed on Sundays.

Mayor Mironov stated, “Brothers BBQ represents yet another new retail tenant and restaurant variety within our community and in a highly prominent visible location at the Route 130 and 571 intersection. This family owned and operated business offers another option for dining within our area and adds further vitality to the Carduner Center which has just added four other new tenants including a Verizon store and Cake Walk Bakery and Restaurant.”
