Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members David Russell, Joseph Miczak and John Zoller joined business owners, family members and staff for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of Tandoori Pizza, located in the Town Center (“Burlington Center”) on Route 130 South.

Tandoori Pizza is an Indian-fusion pizza restaurant that combines traditional Indian spices, flavors and marinades with classic American-style pizza. The menu features a variety of specialty fusion pizzas, including tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chili paneer and spicy garden delight, as well as selections featuring marinated paneer, a traditional Indian cheese seasoned with spices.

In addition to its Indian-fusion specialties, Tandoori Pizza offers a selection of classic pizzas made with traditional red tomato sauce, including cheese, original margherita and vegetarian varieties. The menu also includes an assortment of side dishes, salads and pasta.

Mayor Mironov stated, “The Township welcomes New Jersey’s first Tandoori Pizza restaurant, which offers a novel approach to a popular food favorite enjoyed by many of our residents. We wish them much success as they join the many Township eateries and stores along East Windsor’s prominent and robust Route 130 business corridor.”

Tandoori Pizza was founded in Dublin, California, and began franchising in 2015. The company has since expanded to seven states with 29 locations, including its first and only New Jersey location here in East Windsor.
