Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members David Russell, Richard Eland, Joseph Miczak and John Zoller joined store management and staff on September 4 for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Sprouts Farmers Market, located in the East Windsor Village shopping center at Princeton Hightstown Road and One Mile Road.

Sprouts Farmers Market, which opened its first store in 2002, is one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural and organic foods. The store features farm-fresh produce, fresh meat and seafood, a full-service deli, dairy and baked goods, as well as a broad selection of natural and organic products and gluten-free, plant-based, grass-fed and non-GMO items. The store also offers prepared foods, including wellness bowls, and a bulk foods department featuring freshly roasted coffee beans, rice, nuts, dried fruits, granola, spices and sweets.

Mayor Mironov stated, “We are excited to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market to this prime location in the highly successful East Windsor Village shopping center. As one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing specialty food retailers, Sprouts brings another high-quality shopping option to our residents and the surrounding region.
