Tropical Smoothie Café Opens in East Windsor Township

Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members David Russell, Richard Eland, Joseph Miczak, Johnnie Whittington and John Zoller joined business owners Naimish Patel and Rahul Singh, along with family members and staff, to celebrate the grand opening of Tropical Smoothie Café, located in the Town Center Plaza on Route 130 North.

Tropical Smoothie Café offers a wide-ranging menu of smoothies and fresh, fast-casual food choices. Smoothie selections include fruit blends, tropical favorites and super veggie options, complemented by açai and other tropical bowls, Greek yogurt and chia oatmeal. The café also serves all-day breakfast items, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, quesadillas and toasted snack rolls.

Mayor Mironov stated, “East Windsor welcomes Tropical Smoothie Café as a popular and growing addition to our Route 130 business corridor. Its location in the highly visible Town Center Plaza, anchored by ShopRite and the movie theater, provides an excellent setting for the business to serve our residents and attract customers throughout the area. We are pleased to welcome Tropical Smoothie Café to East Windsor and wish them much success in our community.”

Tropical Smoothie Café began as a single smoothie shop in Destin, Florida, in 1993 and has grown into a nationwide fast-casual franchise with more than 1,700 locations across all 50 states. The company opened 165 new cafés in 2025 and has been recognized among the nation’s fastest-growing franchises.
