EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP

Several EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP sites now are available for COVID-19 Vaccines, see below:

CVS -- East Windsor Town Center CVS has the Pfizer Vaccine and the Target Store CVS has the Moderna Vaccine. (CLICK HERE) for an appointment.

Walgreens, (16 Route 571), and Walmart (839 Route 130) and the Shop-Rite Pharmacy (EW Town Center Plaza, 319 Route 130 No.) -- Walgreens (CLICK HERE) has the Pfizer vaccine, Walmart (CLICK HERE) has the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and Shoprite (CLICK HERE) has the Moderna vaccine

Greenhill Pharmacy, 104 Hickory Corner Road, has the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, call 609-308-2887.

East Windsor Township, in an effort to assist Township Residents with COVID-19 Vaccinations, has VACCINE APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE for a Township-conducted Moderna vaccine clinic on Thursday, May 6 between 12:30 P.M. and 2:30 P.M. To register for an appointment, (CLICK HERE)

STATE OF NEW JERSEY UPDATE

Governor Murphy announced today, gathering limitations are expanded, effective Friday, May 7 (originally May 10). For the expanded gathering limitations (CLICK HERE).

Governor Murphy announced that, effective Wednesday, May 19, "with COVID-19 numbers trending decisively in the right direction", the COMPLETE REMOVAL of ALL OUTDOOR gathering limitations and the complete removal of all percentage capacity limits for indoor and outdoor businesses, and houses of worship as long as social distancing guidelines can be met. Mercer County has reported, as of May 3, 2021, there have been 32 new cases for a total of 31,080 confirmed COVID-19 Cases to date, and a total, sadly, of 890 deaths in Mercer County. All active cases are either at home self-isolating or admitted to the hospital. The State of New Jersey today reported 880 additional Confirmed COVID-19 Cases for a current total of 876,141 cases, and 16 additional deaths for a total of 22,991 COVID-19 related deaths statewide. CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATES

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP 

Effective today April 19, EVERYONE 16 AND OVER IS ELIGIBLE TO BE VACCINATED, (CLICK HERE)The Federal Center for Disease Control (CDC) continues to strongly encourage and recommend that all eligible citizens get vaccinated, (CLICK HERE).

Mercer County Executive, effective April 10, CLOSED the Mercer County Community College site to all first dose vaccination appointments and subsequently announced publicly that on or about May 8, a new Mercer County-operated vaccination site will open at the Ice Skating Rink at Mercer County Park. East Windsor officials have requested and are awaiting further details.

The Township is maintaining a Covid-19 Vaccination Pre-Registration Systemfor local area clinics -- for Eligible Township Residents -- who have not received or scheduled a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. This list will be used in the event the vaccine supply and opportunities become available in our local area. (CLICK HERE) to access the form.

COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment-Finding Tool was established by the New Jersey Department of Health, as an online tool to help people more easily find COVID-19 vaccination appointments (CLICK HERE). The online tool aggregates information across multiple scheduling platforms multiple times an hour, allowing people to search for available vaccine appointments at locations across the state. 

The Township will continue to keep you informed of up to date information concerning the availability and accessibility to vaccines and updated vaccination locations.


STATE OF NEW JERSEY UPDATE

New Jersey's travel restrictions provide that, Fully vaccinated individuals who travel DOMESTICALLY are no longer required to self-quarantine after their trip or to get tested before or after travel. (CLICK HERE)

New Jersey has extended through May 28 the application deadline for small business PPE discounts, through the New Jersey Economic Development Authority's Small and Micro Businesses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Access Program. (CLICK HERE) for additional information and to apply.


Anyone seeking a COVID-19 vaccine is strongly encouraged to register with the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System (NJVSS) (CLICK HERE). If you experience an error or need help registering with the NJVSS, you can complete an online form (CLICK HERE), or call NJ Hotline at (855) 568-0545. You will be notified when it is time for you to schedule an appointment. 

Seniors aged 75 and older can call the Senior NJ COVID Call Center hotline (856) 249-7007 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily for assistance with registering, scheduling and rescheduling appointments.

EAST WINDSOR MUNICIPAL BUILDING: The Municipal Building remains closed to the public but staffed (Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.) to maintain services and respond to phone and email inquiries. Drop-off and pick-up boxes are located at the main building entrance. Residents are strongly encouraged to conduct business with the Township by telephone, email, and regular mail.
