  2. IMPORTANT UPDATES TO TOWNSHIP GARBAGE COLLECTION AND RELATED SERVICES: Effective Monday, May 11 through May 30, 2020. (CLICK HERE).
  3. "Spotlight East Windsor" with Mayor Janice S. Mironov is back starting Wednesday, May 6! Spotlight East Windsor provides information and updates on subjects of interest to the East Windsor community. An expanded schedule of a weekly pre-taped "Spotlight East Windsor" can be viewed daily at 1 P.M., 3 P.M. 5 P.M., 7 P.M., 9 P.M. and 11 P.M. on Comcast Channel 27 and Verizon Channel 38, or on the Township website at www.east-windsor.nj.us.
  4. Township Awards Contract for Roadway Improvements to Dutch Neck Road between Hightstown Borough and Route 130 North and Morrison Avenue between Hightstown Borough and Dutch Neck Road to low bidder Richard T. Barrett Paving Company of Trenton, NJ. The roadway improvements, funded by a New Jersey Department of Transportation $393,575 grant, will include resurfacing, as well as other associated improvements to curbing, aprons and handicap ramps. Construction is projected to begin late in late spring/early summer.
  5. East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Scheduled to Complete the Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the overnight hours between 10 P.M. and 6 A.M. on May 11 through May 15 in the following areas: Hickory Acres, Brooktree area, Renaissance area, Princeton East, Oak Creek Estates and sections of Route 130. This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.   6. 2020 CENSUS QUESTIONNAIRE REMINDER. Residents are encouraged to participate in the 2020 Census. Participating in the Census count is fast and easy. Visit the Census website at my2020Census.gov or call the 2020 Census toll-free at (844) 330-2020 to complete the short census questionnaire. Remember, U.S. Census information is safe and confidential, and an accurate count will be used to direct billions of dollars in federal and state funds to our state and local community.
  7. East Windsor Recreation Department is Accepting Applications for 2020 Summer Camp Positions. The positions include camp supervisors, camp counselors, lifeguards, before and after care camp staff, and (non-paying) counselors-in-training. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Township Recreation Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 214 or online at (CLICK HERE). Individuals 18 years and older will be subject to a background check. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
  8. East Windsor Recreation Department Summer Camp Registration Is Open for Township Residents. Recreational day camps will be offered for students entering grades Kindergarten through 6. The Explorer camp is designed for campers entering grades Kindergarten and 1 and the Adventure camp is designed for campers entering grades 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Our 2020 Travel camps are offered for campers entering grades 5 through 9. Camp Care for before and after care of campers is also available for an additional fee.
