  1. East Windsor Independence Day Celebration Will Be Held on Saturday, July 5 (rain date Saturday, July 12) at Etra Lake Park. Free entertainment begins at 6 P.M. with Jerry Rife's Rhythm Kings Dixieland Jazz Band, a 6 piece band from the Delaware Valley area best known for its traditional jazz sound, followed at 7:45 P.M. by the Trenton Brass Quintet Plus One, a 6 piece ensemble from Central Jersey performing "Americana" and a variety of popular melodies. The spectacular Fireworks Display will commence immediately following the musical presentations, at approximately 9:30 P.M. Bring your blankets and chairs, and use the barbecue grills for a night of free fun at beautiful Etra Lake Park. There will also be vendors present selling refreshments. This free event is made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.

  2. East Windsor Holds "Earth Wind & Fire" Tribute Concert on Sunday, July 13 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. Earth Wind Fire Tribute Band is a group with roots in gospel music committed to recreating the style and music of the premier band of the 70's, 80'sand 90's. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Melvin H. Kreps School auditorium (5 Kent Lane).
  3. East Windsor Officials Will Be Hosting "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road). This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police Jason Hart, features displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, DJ provided music and refreshments. Youth games and activities will feature jumping/climbing inflatables, climbing obstacle course, face painting and air brush tattoos.   4. LAST CALL: East Windsor Recreation Department Summer Camp Registration Is Open. Recreation day camps will be offered for students entering grades Kindergarten through 9. The Explorer camp is designed for campers entering grades Kindergarten and 1, the Adventure camp is designed for campers entering grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, and the 2025 Travel camps are offered for campers entering grades 5 through 9 (Travel camp nearly sold out. Wait-listing for most weeks). Camp Care for before and after care of campers is also available for an additional fee. Online registration and payment is available (CLICK HERE).   5. REMINDER: All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED and No Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Friday, July 4 due to the Independence Day holiday. Residents of Area #2, who would normally have garbage collection on Friday, July 4, are to put their garbage out on the next regularly scheduled collection date which is Tuesday, July 8.
