CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

Residents are encouraged to continue supporting all our local businesses, including our restaurants and food establishments, during these challenging times.


One Time Drive-Up or Walk-Up COVID-19 Testing Site on a first come, first served (maximum 300 tests) on Tuesday, June 23, 8 A.M. - 12 P.M. at West Windsor Community Park, 198 Princeton Hightstown Road (County Route 571), West Windsor, for New Jersey residents and New Jersey state, county and municipal employees. Test is the guided Self-Swab Nasal Test - PCR, provided at no cost, and no prescription required. If you have health insurance, you will be asked to provide, but is not a requirement. Attendees must wear face covering and practice social distancing.

STATE OF NEW JERSEY UPDATES

Governor Murphy announced today, June 22, Restaurants will re-open for INDOOR DINING beginning July 2, provided they only use 25 percent of their usual indoor seating capacity.

New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) on June 19, 2020 released guidelines for High School Sports Practices which may begin July 13 if schools wish.

  • Teams can run summer workouts until at least July 26 under the guidelines.
  • The guidelines limit activities to conditioning and non-contact drills conducted outdoors.
  • Locker rooms will remain closed except for one-at-a-time bathroom use.
  • Daily screenings for COVID-19 symptoms are mandatory.
  • Competition with other teams remains prohibited.

Mercer County has reported, as of June 22, 2020, there have been 8 new cases for a total of 7,549 confirmed COVID-19 Cases to date, with no additional of deaths in Mercer County. All active cases are either at home self-isolating or admitted to the hospital. The State of New Jersey today reported 273 additional Confirmed COVID-19 Cases for a current total of 169,415 cases, and 25 additional deaths for a total of 12,895 COVID-19 related deaths statewide.
