  1. REMINDER: Early In-Person Voting Continues through Sunday, November 2, at Eight Sites in Mercer County, Including East Windsor at the: Mercer County Library, Hickory Corner Branch, 138 Hickory Corner Road. Early Voting hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can vote in-person on regular voting machines at any of the eight Mercer County early voting sites below.


  2. Vote By Mail Ballots Must Be Postmarked or Returned to Any Secure Drop Box by 8 P.M. on Election Day, November 4. A secure drop box for completed Vote by Mail Ballots is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building at 80 One Mile Road.   3. Election Day is TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, and polls are open from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M. Check your Sample Ballot to confirm polling place. If you have questions, contact the Township Clerk office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 438.
  4. Oath of Office Administered by Mayor Janice Mironov to Two New Police Officers, Steven Cassidy and Francis Rodriguez, who will join the police department upon graduation from the Mercer County Police Academy. Police Officer Cassidy graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. Police Officer Rodriguez attended West Virginia University and Brookdale Community College, where he played ice hockey. Both Police Officers Cassidy and Rodriguez will be assigned to the Uniform Services Division.

  5. East Windsor Township Participated in Younity (formerly Womanspace) "Communities of Light" on Monday, October 27, to raise funds for Younity and focus public awareness on the important issue of domestic violence and services available to victims. Checks of support remain enthusiastically welcomed (checks payable to Younity can be dropped off at or mailed to the municipal building, 16 Lanning Boulevard, East Windsor, NJ 08520). Township officials issued a Proclamation and joined together to light up the Municipal Building for Communities of Light, sponsored by Younity, the primary non-profit organization in Mercer County providing a comprehensive array of services, crisis intervention and support for victims of domestic violence and their families.

  6. East Windsor "Operation Medicine Cabinet" on Saturday, October 25 Collected Additional 65 Pounds, Resulting in a Total of 301 Pounds of Unused and Expired Prescription Medications, which were turned over to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. "Operation Medicine Cabinet" provides a secure and legal means to dispose of these prescription medications in an environmentally responsible manner and reduces possible access by unauthorized persons and young people to these drugs. East Windsor Township has a drop-off box for unused and expired medications available 24/7 in the lobby of the police/court building (80 One Mile Road).
  7. East Windsor Will Hold Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 8 from 1 P.M to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 at 51 One Mile Road and on Saturday, November 15 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 at 69 Twin Rivers Drive. Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive vaccination of a three-year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one-year duration only will be provided.   8. East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Conducting Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the hours between 9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on the following dates: This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.
