October 17, 2025 - Early In-Person Voting Begins Saturday, October 25 through Sunday, November 2 at Eight Sites in Mercer County, Including East Windsor at the Hickory Corner Branch Library. Early Voting hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can vote in-person on regular voting machines at any of the Mercer County early voting sites, which include East Windsor, below:
• East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
• Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Avenue
• Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
• Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike at Darrah Lane,
• Pennington: Pennington Fire Department, 120 Broemel Place
• Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street
• Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 244 Perry Street
• West Windsor: Mercer County Library- West Windsor Branch, 333 North Post Road West - Vote By Mail Applications Must Be Mailed by Tuesday, October 28 or Returned in Person by 3 P.M. on Monday, November 3 to the Mercer County Clerk’s Office. Completed Vote by Mail ballots can be placed in any secure drop box up to 8 P.M. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4 or must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 4 . A secure drop box for completed Vote by Mail Ballots is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court/Police Building (80 One Mile Road).
- East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Support and Participate in Younity (Formerly Womanspace) "Communities of Light" Scheduled for Monday, October 27 at 5 P.M. Citizens and businesses can participate and support Younity by purchasing candles, bringing the luminary kits and gathering with local elected officials and police on Monday, October 27 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard). Luminary kits, containing six candles each, can be purchased for $10 at any time at the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road). All proceeds will go 100% directly to Younity, the primary Mercer County organization providing a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of abuse victims and their families.  - East Windsor Will Participate in Operation Medicine Cabinet on October 25, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., offering residents the opportunity to dispose of unused, unwanted and expired prescription medications in an environmentally responsible manner and reducing possible access by unauthorized persons and young people to these drugs. The Township has a drop box in the lobby of the police/court building at 80 One Mile Road for the collection of these various medications. This special one-day collaborative event with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is intended to focus community attention on the importance and opportunity for secure and responsible disposal of medications. Collected medications will be turned over to the DEA on the next business day for final disposal. The Township maintains a year-round 24/7 accessible permanent medicine drop box in the lobby of the police/court building.
- East Windsor Offers Another Free Flu Clinic on Tuesday, October 28 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard), for East Windsor and Hightstown residents 60 years and older. The vaccinations are free of charge and by appointment only, by calling the Township Health Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 422.
- East Windsor Will Hold Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 8 from 1 P.M to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 at 51 One Mile Road and on Saturday, November 15 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 at 69 Twin Rivers Drive. Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive vaccination of a three-year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one-year duration only will be provided. - East Windsor Township and the Township Economic Development Committee Announce Updated “TOWNSHIP OF EAST WINDSOR, NJ STREET & ROAD MAP.” The map includes every street in the Township, with an index for locating streets. The newly produced Township map also features places of interest in the Township such as parks and open space, shopping centers, corporate/business centers, preserved farmland, schools, police and fire, and other sites of interest. The full map and brochure, as seen in the printed version, is viewable on the Township website (CLICK HERE) or via the QR code on the face of the below graphic. Limited numbers of the printed version of the map are available at the municipal building (16 Lanning Boulevard). The map, produced and printed by Atlantic Communications Group in partnership with the Township, is underwritten by local businesses and advertisers.
 - East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority (EWMUA) Is Conducting Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing to remove sediment from pipes, monitor water flows and pressures, and provide visual inspection of the hydrants during the hours between 9 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on the following dates: This schedule is subject to change due to conflicting work that must be done by EWMUA personnel. According to the EWMUA, customers may notice a drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. At no time will the water quality be compromised, and the water is safe to use.
