  1. REMINDER: Last Days of Early In-Person Voting NOW through Sunday, November 6 at Seven Sites in Mercer County. Early Voting hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Voters can cast their ballot at any of the Mercer County seven early voting sites which are listed below:
    • East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
    • Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Avenue
    • Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
    • Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 US Highway 1
    • Pennington: Pennington Fire Company, 120 Broemel Place
    • Princeton: Princeton Shopping Center, 301 North Harrison Street
    • Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 244 Perry Street
  2. REMINDER: ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, and polls are open from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M. Check your Sample Ballot to confirm polling place. If you are completing a Vote by Mail ballot, you can place it in any secure drop box, up to 8 P.M. on Election Day. NOTE: A secure drop box is located in front of the East Windsor Municipal Court Building (80 One Mile Road). For questions about voting or polling place, call the Municipal Clerk's office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 237.
  3. REMINDER: East Windsor Is Holding Free Rabies Clinics for dog and cat owners on Saturday, November 5 from 1 P.M to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 at 51 One Mile Road and on Saturday, November 12 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 at 69 Twin Rivers Drive. Owners will be required to show a certificate of previous rabies vaccination to receive a vaccination of three year duration; otherwise vaccinations of one year duration only will be provided.   4. East Windsor Township Offers COVID-19 Vaccination and Boosters Including Bivalent Booster Clinic on Wednesday, November 16 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Twin Rivers Branch Library (276 Abbington Drive). Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available, as well as bivalent booster doses for those who are eligible. Vaccinations and Pfizer boosters will be available for children ages 5 and older.   5. East Windsor Township Encourages Residents to Support and Participate in Womanspace "Communities of Light" Scheduled for Monday, December 5. Citizens and businesses can participate and support Womanspace by purchasing candles, bringing the luminary kits and gathering with local elected officials and police on Monday, December 5 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building. Luminary kits, containing six candles each, can be purchased for $10 at any time at the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road). All proceeds will go 100% directly to Womanspace, the primary Mercer County organization providing a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of abuse victims and their families.     Purchase "Communities of Light" luminary kits, with six candles, at the East Windsor Police/Municipal Court Building (80 One Mile Road) for $10 to raise funds for Womanspace. East Windsor officials and citizens will assemble on Monday, December 5 at 5 P.M. to light up the East Windsor Municipal Building, as a beacon of hope for the victims of domestic violence and their families.
  6. Roadway Improvements to Hawthorne Lane, Holly Drive, Iris Drive, Fern Drive and Brooklawn Drive between Woodland Drive and Ivy Lane West Continue with concrete work to curbs and driveway aprons. Thereafter, storm drains will be upgraded, handicapped ramps will be repaired, and finally the roadway will be milled and paved. The project, awarded to low bidder Meco Inc. of Millstone Township, New Jersey, is supported by a New Jersey Department of Transportation $600,000 grant. Work is expected to be completed mid-November.
  7. East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Encourage Citizens to Volunteer for Township Boards and Committees. Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. Residents interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the municipal clerk or can fill out this form (CLICK HERE) and return by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303, or by mail to Mayor Janice S.   8. High School Students Invited to Serve as Student Members of East Windsor Township Boards and Commissions. The boards and commissions included in the program are Commission on Aging, Clean Communities Committee, Economic Development Commission, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Committee and Recreation Commission, as well as the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. High school students who wish to be considered should submit a letter indicating their area of interest and reasons or related background, by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303 or by mail to Mayor Janice S.
