  1. East Windsor Township Offers Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Dose Clinic on Thursday, February 17 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Twin Rivers Library Branch (276 Abbington Drive). Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available, as well as Booster doses for those who are eligible. Vaccinations will be available for children ages 5 through 11.   2. Simply Fruits Opens in Windsor Center at the Intersection of Route 130 South and Route 571. Simply Fruits, which specializes in fresh fruit items, offers a variety of fruit bowls, custom made to order, and juices and smoothies. The menu includes variations of acai bowls, coconut bowls, pitaya bowls, kale coconut bowls, special yogurt parfaits, varied hot oatmeals, toasties, smoothies, fresh juices and coming soon loose leaf teas. Their other Simply Fruits location is in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, with a third location opening soon in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Current hours are daily from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.   3. Township Accepting Applications from Residents for Participation in the 2022 East Windsor Community Garden. The Community Garden is located on the Disbrow Hill Road open space property, adjacent to the Disbrow Hill playing fields and across from Etra Lake Park. The Community Garden provides residents with the opportunity to rent a plot of land to plant their own fruits and vegetables. A lottery will be held if applications exceed the 20 plots available. The garden is tentatively scheduled to open for spring planting on Saturday, April 2, weather permitting. Applications will be available online beginning Monday, February 14 or contact the Municipal Clerk's Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 238 for further information.
  4. East Windsor Township and the NJ League of Municipalities Offer Scholarship Opportunities to Junior and Senior High School Students. Three $1,000 scholarships are being offered through the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition. This statewide scholarship competition centers on the theme "What My Municipal Government Does Best" and seeks to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer members of the community, while raising awareness of municipal government in general. The State League Scholarship Committee will select 15 finalists and 3 winners from the State. A full application package can be obtained from the Municipal Clerk's office at the municipal building (16 Lanning Boulevard) or by calling (609) 443-4000, ext. 238. All entries must be returned to the East Windsor Mayor's Office by Wednesday, March 9.
  5. East Windsor Recreation Department Is Accepting Applications for 2022 Summer Camp Positions. The positions include camp supervisors, camp counselors, before and after care camp staff, and (non-paying) counselors-in-training. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Township Recreation Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 214 or online at (CLICK HERE). Individuals 18 years and older will be subject to a background check. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
  6. No Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Monday, February 21 and All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED due to the holiday. Garbage Collection for Area #1 residents, normally on Monday, February 21, will be on the next scheduled collection date of Thursday, February 24.
