1. Tropical Smoothie Cafe Celebrates Grand Opening in the Town Center Plaza on Route 130 North. Tropical Smoothie Cafe, with a menu approach of "better-for-you alternatives to fast food," has a wide variety of smoothies as super veggie, tropical treats and fruit blends, plus tropic bowls as acai and more, Greek yogurt and chia oatmeal. The cafe has breakfast options served all day, and wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, flour tortillas dillas quesadillas, as well as toasted snack rolls. Tropical Smoothie Cafe has grown from a single smoothie shop on a beach in Destin, Florida in 1993 to a nationwide fast-casual chain with more than 1700 locations in all 50 states. 2. East Windsor Is Holding Community Remembrance Ceremony for 25th Anniversary of 9/11 on Thursday, September 10 at 5 P.M. to remember and honor the anniversary of September 11. The ceremony will take place at the existing 9/11 Memorial located on the grounds of the East Windsor Township Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard). Participants will include the school district, clergy, veterans, police officers, fire company volunteers, scouts and local officials. The public is encouraged to attend, to join in ensuring "We Will Never Forget."

3. All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED and NO Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Monday, September 7 due to Labor Day Holiday. Residents of Area #1, who would normally have garbage collection on Monday, September 7, are to put their garbage out on the next regularly scheduled collection date which is Thursday, September 10.
