  1. Early In-Person Voting Begins Tuesday, June 3 and Continues through Sunday, June 8 at Seven Sites in Mercer County, Including at the Hickory Corner Branch Library in East Windsor. Early Voting hours are 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. and Sunday, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M, Voters can cast their ballot at any of the Mercer County early voting sites below:
    o East Windsor: Mercer County Library, 138 Hickory Corner Road
    o Ewing: Mercer County Office Park, 140 Parkside Avenue
    o Hamilton: Colonial Fire House Company, 801 Kuser Road
    o Lawrence: Mercer County Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike at Darrah Lane
    o Pennington: Pennington Fire Department, 120 Broemel Place
    o Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building - Community Room, 400 Witherspoon Street
    o Trenton: Trenton Fire Headquarters, 241 Perry Street

  3. REMINDER: Mayor Janice S. Mironov Will Present "State of East Windsor Township" Address at Event on Thursday, June 5 from 5 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the East Windsor Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). The Mayor's annual address will include a report on accomplishments in 2024 and 2025 as well as Township goals for this year. Mayor Mironov's topics will include new business and commercial development updates, budget and financial subjects, Township recreation and senior services projects, local roadway and safety improvements, environmental initiatives, and other local topics of interest. All local businesses and interested members of the community are welcomed to attend. Light refreshments will be served. There is no registration fee.   4. East Windsor Roadway Improvements to Portions of Dutch Neck Road and Dorchester Drive Are Commencing. The roadway project and related engineering work, funded by two New Jersey Department of Transportation grants in the total amount of $1,382,968, will resurface Dutch Neck Road from the West Windsor border to Hickory Corner Road and Dorchester Drive from Dutch Neck Road south to the end. The work will include concrete repair of damaged curbs and aprons as needed, installation of handicap ramps, followed by full milling and paving of the roadways. The project was awarded to low bidder Meco Inc. of Millstone Township, New Jersey. Concrete curb and driveway apron work are in the process of starting.
  5. Elementary School Student Winners of the Township Earth Day Recycling Poster Contest Were Recognized by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members. The poster contest theme was to promote the 4 R's of the Township Recycling Program: "Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, Rebuy." Winners received Mayoral Certificates of Recognition and donated gift certificates to Barnes and Noble. All of the posters are on display through the month of June in the East Windsor Municipal Building. Congratulations to all of the winning students.

  6. Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program Session Funded by $12,200 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety Will Be Held on Thursday, June 5, from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at The Primrose School (191 Dutch Neck Road). The Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program is designed to ensure motorists are properly securing their children in child seats as required by State law. Interested residents can have their child seats inspected for proper fit and installation in their vehicles and will receive educational materials regarding current child restraint laws. East Windsor is holding a series of child safety seat inspection sessions over the 2025 spring and summer. For a full list of dates (CLICK HERE).
  7. REMINDER: East Windsor Township is Seeking Nominations for the 2024 Township Business Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community. Mayor Janice S. Mironov explained that the three categories are: (1) Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site; or (2) Community Service – providing for community contributions and service; or (3) Community Enhancement - providing any community value added aspect related to their business, for example, extraordinary job creation or an unusual or special product or opportunity. Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight. Nomination forms are available at the Municipal Building and posted online at www.east-windsor.nj.us. The deadline for nominations is June 6, 2025.
