  4. East Windsor Township Installs at the Hickory Corner Library Branch the Board Created by Residents during the Local Kindness Day Event. East Windsor Township joined with East Windsor-Hightstown Kind in July to celebrate Kindness Day and recognize the importance of kindness in our community. Initiated by East Windsor Regional School District High School student Aditya Bala, East Windsor-Hightstown Kind encourages students, residents and businesses to be kind and do acts of kindness throughout the year. East Windsor-Hightstown Kind encouraged residents and businesses to participate in the great Kindness Challenge, which included "acts to demonstrate being grateful, being gracious, being supportive, being present, being a good neighbor, being earth friendly, being good to yourself, being part of the solution, being attentive and being inclusive." A booth to promote Kindness Day was hosted at the East Windsor Village Shopping Center and at "Fun Night" in Hightstown. In addition to program initiator Aditya Bala, volunteers who helped out with the event include: Anshu Andhavarapu, Adriana Compasano, Julian Eng, Lorena Fernandez, Emily Nelson, Harshil Patel, Krish Patel, Om Patel, Allie Rafkin, Andrew Roberts and Dhitan Vyas. For more information on how to get involved and to share your kindness activities, email ewhtownkind@gmail.com.
