  1. ALERT: Improvements to Stockton Street Curb and Sidewalks Between Route130 and Oak Lane Commenced this Week and Continue. Stockton Street remains closed to through traffic on working days, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. This joint improvement project between East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough includes the replacement of existing curbs and sidewalks, driveway aprons, handicapped ramps and the installation of new curbs and sidewalks on Stockton Street between Route 130 and Oak Lane. The project is anticipated to be completed no later than Labor Day.
  2. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, July 29 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile". Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is a family movie comedy released in 2022; Lyle, the reptile, lives in a house on East 88th Street in New York City. Lyle enjoys helping the Primm family with everyday chores and playing with neighborhood kids but one neighbor insists that Lyle belongs in a zoo. Mr. Grumps and his cat, Loretta, do not like crocodiles, and Lyle tries to prove that he is not as bad as others might first think. The evening begins at 7 PM with games, crafts, DJ Music and dancing prior to the movie starting at dusk. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   3. Join East Windsor Officials for "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 1, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex, 30 Airport Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police Jason Hart, features crime watch information, displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, DJ provided music and refreshments. Youth games and activities will feature jumping/climbing inflatables, climbing obstacle course, face painting and air brush tattoos.   4. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Initiative Continues on Tuesday, August 1 at National Night Out at East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road) from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Funded by a $7,500 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws. A final session will be held at the Police/Court building (80 One Mile Road) on Friday, September 22 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  5. East Windsor Holds "Yacht Rock Gold" Concert on Sunday, August 6 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. Yacht Rock Gold performs favorite hits from the late 1970's to early 1980's, celebrating the sounds of the Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Little River Band, Ambrosia, Boz Scaggs and more. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   6. East Windsor Holds "Tupelo Honey - A Van Morrison Celebration" Sunday, August 20 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. Tupelo Honey is a tribute to one of the finest songwriters and performers of a generation. Van Morrison has written some of the most iconic songs in popular music history. Tupelo Honey recreates these classics, which include Moon Dance, Brown Eyed Girl, Have I Told You Lately and more. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.
