  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Township Offers COVID-19 Vaccination and Boosters Including Bivalent Booster Clinic on Thursday, February 9 and Thursday, March 9 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard), for East Windsor and Hightstown residents 60 years and older. Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available, as well as bivalent booster doses for those who are eligible. Appointments Are Required. Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available, as well as bivalent booster doses for those who are eligible. Vaccinations and Pfizer boosters will be available for children ages 5 and older.   3. East Windsor Township and the NJ League of Municipalities Offer Scholarship Opportunities to Junior and Senior High School Students. Three $1,000 scholarships are being offered through the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition. This statewide scholarship competition centers on the theme "What My Municipal Government Does Best" and seeks to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer members of the community, while raising awareness of municipal government in general. The State League Scholarship Committee will select 15 finalists and 3 winners from the State. A full application package can be obtained from the Municipal Clerk's office at the municipal building (16 Lanning Boulevard) or by calling (609) 443-4000, ext. 238. All entries must be returned to the East Windsor Mayor's Office by Wednesday, March 8.
  4. East Windsor Recreation Department Is Accepting Applications for 2023 Summer Camp Positions. The positions include camp supervisors, camp counselors, before and after care camp staff, and (non-paying) counselors-in-training. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Township Recreation Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 214 or online at (CLICK HERE). Individuals 18 years and older will be subject to a background check. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
  5. NOTICE: New Property Tax Relief Program Application Filing Deadline Extended to Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program replaces the Homestead Benefit program and expands the amount of property tax relief and number of eligible homeowners and tenants. Applications can be filed either online or by phone. The online application for homeowners can be found here, the online application for tenants can be found here, and the automated telephone filing system phone number is (877) 658-2972, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Eligible homeowners must have owned and occupied their home as their principal residence on October 1, 2019 and have a 2019 gross income not more than $250,000. Eligible tenants must have rented and occupied an apartment or residence that was their principal residence on October 1, 2019, lived in a unit with its own separate kitchen and bath facilities, and have a 2019 gross income of not more than $150,000. The 2019 property taxes must be paid.
  6. TIPS FROM EAST WINDSOR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION about The Federal Inflation Reduction Act. This Act, recently signed into law, provides financial incentives on clean energy purchased. The Environmental Commission shares highlights on how East Windsor residents can benefit from this new law:
    • EV Cars
      $7,500 tax credit for new EV Cars
      $4,000 tax credit for used EV Cars
    • Solar
      30 percent tax credit for solar installation
      Eligible for up to $8,000 in rebates for energy efficiency
    • Upgrades
      30 percent tax credit for home energy improvements
      Rebates for energy efficient appliances
