  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "Gypsy" Fleetwood Mac Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 7 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. "Gypsy" performs the greatest hits from Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, including: Stand Back, Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman, Don't Stop and so many more! These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses. In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  2. CALENDAR: East Windsor Holds "B-Street Band" Bruce Springsteen Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 21 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. “The B-Street Band” is the top requested Bruce Springsteen tribute band on the circuit, with over 200 shows per year throughout the country. When “The Boss” himself has made an appearance to see the show, you know the performance will be second-to-none. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   3. East Windsor Township Celebrated "National Night Out" on August 2, attended by well over 2,000 people. East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov issued and presented to East Windsor Neighborhood Crime Watch volunteer members a Mayoral Proclamation stating, "National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and foremost send a strong message to criminals letting them know that the community and police have joined together in fighting crime." The event is held annually to demonstrate the commitment of East Windsor Township in promoting a cooperative partnership between police, local government and citizens to vigilance and crime prevention throughout the East Windsor community.

  4. East Windsor Township Yoga in the Park Continues with another session at Etra Lake Park on Wednesday, August 17. The Township Recreation Department in conjunction with the East Windsor Health Advisory Board is offering outdoor 45 minute yoga sessions led by a licensed Yoga instructor. Final yoga session will be held on August 31, weather permitting. All ages and levels are welcome. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
