  1. REMINDER: Join East Windsor Officials for "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 2, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L Complex, 30 Airport Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, games and activities, DJ provided music and refreshments.

  2. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Program Continues on Tuesday, August 2 at National Night Out at East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road) from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Funded by $6,480 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws. A final session will be held at the Police/Court building (80 One Mile Road) on Friday, September 16 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  3. Adithya Kalyan of Boy Scout Troop 59 Completes Installation of Two Benches along the Rocky Brook Pathway, behind the East Windsor Township Senior Center. The benches were designed, constructed and installed as a part of an Eagle Scout Community Project. East Windsor Township officials enthusiastically welcome boy scout and girl scout projects providing improvements and amenities to Township parks and public properties.


    Mayor Janice S. Mironov joins Boy Scout Adithya Kalyan to accept the two new benches, constructed and installed along the Rocky Brook Pathway behind the Township Senior Center for his Eagle Scout project.
  4. East Windsor Holds "Gypsy" Fleetwood Mac Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 7 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. "Gypsy" performs the greatest hits from Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, including: Stand Back, Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman, Don't Stop and so many more! These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses. In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.


    Attendees enjoy the music and entertainment at the July 24 well-attended summer concert by "Wooden Ships" Tribute Band to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young moved inside to the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School Auditorium.
