  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "Wooden Ships Band" Tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young Concert on Sunday, July 24 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The Wooden Ships Band pays homage to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (CSN). They faithfully reproduce the CSN songbook and will take you back in time to the era of the 1970's, and to the Woodstock Festival. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses. In the event of questionable weather, the event would be relocated inside to the EWRSD Hightstown High School auditorium.   2. Join East Windsor Officials for "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 2, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L Complex, 30 Airport Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, games and activities, DJ provided music and refreshments.   3. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Initiative Continues on Tuesday, August 2 at National Night Out at East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road) from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Funded by $6,480 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws. A final session will be held at the Police/Court building (80 One Mile Road) on Friday, September 16 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  4. Oath of Office Administered to New Police Officer Oksana Kopyto who fills a police vacancy. Police Officer Oksana Kopyto graduated from the Mercer County Police Academy in July 2022 and has an Associate of Science Degree from Mercer County College. Officer Kopyto has been assigned to the Uniform Services Division.


    East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov administered the oath of office to new Police Officer Oksana Kopyto, attended by Chief of Police James Geary and other police officers.
  5. East Windsor Township Yoga in the Park Continues with another session at Etra Lake Park on Wednesday, August 3. The Township Recreation Department in conjunction with the East Windsor Health Advisory Board is offering outdoor 45 minute yoga sessions led by a licensed Yoga instructor. Additional Yoga sessions will be held on August 17 and August 31, weather permitting. All ages and levels are welcome. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
