  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" TOMORROW Saturday, July 16 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Encanto". Encanto is a fantasy comedy new 2021 release Disney computer-animated film. In Encanto, Colombian teenager Maribel Madrigal has to face the frustration of being the only member of her magical family without special powers. Prior to the start of the movie, there will be games, DJ music and dancing. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   2. REMINDER: East Windsor Child Passenger Car Safety Seat Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,480 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, Continues on Monday, July 18, from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Police/Municipal Court Building. The Child Passenger Car Safety Seat Inspection Program is designed to ensure motorists are properly securing their children in child seats as required by State law. Interested residents can have their child seats inspected for proper fit and installation in their vehicles and will receive educational materials regarding current child restraint laws. Additional inspection sessions will take place Tuesday, August 2 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Township National Night Out event at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road) and Friday, September 16 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road).
  3. Groups and Businesses Are Invited to Participate in "National Night Out" Set for Tuesday, August 2, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L Complex, 30 Airport Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, music, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. Area community groups and businesses who wish to offer support, participate or host a booth can contact Lt. Ryan Mattek at (609) 448-5678, ext. 239, or mattek@ewpd.com.
  4. East Windsor Township Yoga in the Park Continues with another session at Etra Lake Park on Wednesday, July 20. The Township Recreation Department in conjunction with the East Windsor Health Advisory Board is offering outdoor 45 minute yoga sessions led by a licensed Yoga instructor. Additional Yoga sessions will be held on August 3, August 17 and August 31, weather permitting. All ages and levels are welcome. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.   5. East Windsor Holds "Wooden Ships Band" Tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young Concert on Sunday, July 24 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The Wooden Ships Band pays homage to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. They faithfully reproduce the CSN songbook and will take you back in time to the era of the 1970's, during the Woodstock Festival. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.
