  1. Join East Windsor Officials for "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 3, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court Building at 80 One Mile Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, displays and various demonstrations, and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. The event includes police/court building tours, police vehicle tours, demonstrations by canines trained in detecting illegal drugs, child car safety seat inspections, fire and EMS equipment displays, and a rock-climbing wall. There will be booths by many local organizations and businesses, with information and giveaways. Refreshments and the Kona Ice Truck will be available, along with DJ provided music.   2. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, July 31 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Trolls World Tour". Trolls World Tour is an action–packed new release (2020) Disney 3D computer-animated adventurous film; when the Queen of the Hard Rock Trolls tries to take over all the Troll Kingdoms, Queen Poppy and her friends try different ways to save the Trolls. Prior to the start of the movie, there will be games, DJ music, and dancing. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   3. East Windsor Holds AM Gold "Yacht Rock Party -- Hit Songs from 1975 through 1985" Concert on Sunday, August 8 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. AM GOLD is a New York City based tribute band, performing the contemporary hit songs from the late 1970’s through the mid- 980’s. Artists performed songs include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, Lionel Richie and many others. This 70's and 80's decades based music has recently experienced a revival known to many as "Yacht Rock". These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.     Attendees enjoy the music and entertainment at the July 18 well-attended summer concert by "Jersey Four" Tribute Band to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons in Etra Lake Park.
  4. Mayor Janice S. Mironov and the Township Clean Communities Committee Award Panera Bread with Certificate of Appreciation for "Keeping East Windsor Township Litter Free". Panera Bread, located on Route 130 South, was recognized as a commercial establishment situated in a highly visible prominent location, for keeping its property and building well maintained and landscaped and free of litter thereby enhancing the municipal appearance and environment. The purpose of the award is to recognize a local business that has made special efforts to keep East Windsor Township litter free.

  5. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety on Tuesday August 3 and Thursday, September 23 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court building at 80 One Mile Road. The FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws.
  6. SPECIAL NOTICE ON THIRD QUARTER TAX BILLS: Finalization and mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills due August 1 has been DELAYED due to the delayed certification of the Mercer County tax rate by the State of New Jersey. The Township now has received the certified tax rate from Mercer County, and hard copies of the final 2021 tax bills are being put in the mail and should be received in the coming week. Taxpayers now can view and pay their tax bills through the Township website on-line system (CLICK HERE) or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bill. The grace period for third quarter taxes will be extended to August 25, 2021 with no further grace period, and for tax payments not received by August 25, interest will accrue back to August 1.
