  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Holds "Jersey Four" Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Concert on Sunday, July 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The Jersey Four will take you on a journey from the very beginning of The Four Seasons Number #1 Hits – Frankie Valli`s solo career – to present day Four Seasons shows. Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Rag Doll, Walk Like a Man and Who Loves You are just some of the many hits you will enjoy from their great collection of songs from those four guys from Jersey. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   2. McDonald's Closes to Commence Construction of New Replacement Restaurant on Existing Site at Route 130 South and Dutch Neck Road. Demolition of the existing building is anticipated to begin around July 19, and construction is expected to be completed by the end of October. Construction of a similar sized, approximately 4,940 square foot modernized restaurant will replace the long existing building. Improvements include side-by-side drive-thru kiosks to increase stacking of vehicles and enhance safety, new free-standing and wall signage, repaved and upgraded parking areas, new menu boards and pre-browse menu boards, as well as other various landscaping and related improvements.
  3. East Windsor Township Yoga in the Park Continues with another session on Wednesday, July 21 at 6 P.M. The Township Recreation Department in conjunction with the East Windsor Health Advisory Board is offering outdoor yoga sessions at Etra Lake Park. The 45 minute Yoga sessions will be led by a licensed Yoga Instructor on August 4, August 18, and September 1, weather permitting. All ages and levels are welcome. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Online program registration and registration fee of $8 per session is available at (CLICK HERE).   4. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, July 31 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Trolls World Tour". Trolls World Tour is an action–packed new release (2020) Disney 3D computer-animated adventurous film; when the Queen of the Hard Rock Trolls tries to take over all the Troll Kingdoms, Queen Poppy and her friends try different ways to save the Trolls. Prior to the start of the movie, there will be games, DJ music and dancing. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   5. Join East Windsor Officials for "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 3, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court Building at 80 One Mile Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, and information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. The event includes tours of the Police/Court Building, police car tours, canine drug detection demonstrations, fire and rescue displays, child safety seat inspections, shaved ice truck, refreshments and DJ provided music.   6. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety on Tuesday August 3 and Thursday, September 23 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court building at 80 One Mile Road. The FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws.
  7. East Windsor Health Department Offers Walk-In Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics on Saturday, July 17 and Saturday, July 24, at the Twin Rivers Community Pools. The July 17 vaccination clinics will be at the Quad One pool (675 Abbington Drive) from 11:30 A.M. to 1 P.M., and the Quad Two pool (51 Twin Rivers Drive) will be from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. The July 24 vaccination clinics will be held at the Quad Three pool (974 Avon Drive West) from 11:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. and at the Quad Four pool (1 Fairfield Road) from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. The vaccination clinics are by walk-in. No appointments are needed. Residents can dial 2-1-1 and schedule free or discounted rides to vaccination sites through Ride United Transportation Access and wherever Lyft services are available.
