  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Township Is Holding Document Shredding and Electronics Recycling Event on Wednesday, July 14 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M., Rain or Shine, at the East Windsor Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). NO OTHER DROP-OFFS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT. This Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members, will offer Free document shredding to East Windsor residents (no commercial drop-offs are permitted), with a limit of ten boxes per household. Electronics Recycling is limited to only televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, fax machines, cell phones, VCR's, cable boxes and telephones. All drop-offs shall be "Contact-less" and residents must remain in their vehicles at all times. Trained staff wearing masks and gloves will remove items from the trunk and rear seat of the vehicle.   2. Child Passenger Car Seat Safety Inspection Initiative Continues on Monday, July 12. Funded by $6,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the FREE Child Passenger Car Seat safety inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child car seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws. Sessions will be held at the Police/Court building, at 80 One Mile Road on Tuesday, August 3 and Thursday, September 23 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  3. East Windsor Holds "Jersey Four" Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Concert on Sunday, July 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The Jersey Four will take you on a journey from the very beginning of The Four Seasons Number #1 Hits – Frankie Valli`s solo career –to present day Four Seasons shows. Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Rag Doll, Walk Like a Man and Who Loves You are just some of the many hits you will enjoy from their great collection of songs from those four guys from Jersey. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   4. CALENDAR: East Windsor Holds "AM Gold" Yacht Rock Party- Hit Songs from 1975- 1985 Concert on Sunday, August 8 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. AM GOLD is a New York City based tribute band, performing the adult-contemporary hit songs from the late 1970’s through the mid 1980’s. Artists include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, Lionel Richie and so many more! Most of this Southern-California based music has recently experienced a revival known to many as Yacht Rock. This smooth style of music has stood the test of time. These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.   5. Mercer County Library System Has Expanded Hours of Operation. Effective July 12, the East Windsor branches, the Hickory Corner Branch at 138 Hickory Corner Road and the Twin Rivers Branch at 276 Abbington Drive, will be open to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., and for curbside pick-up on Thursdays from 10 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
