No appointment is required. Other inspection dates are Wednesday, June 23, Monday, July 12, Tuesday, August 3, and Thursday, September 23 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.

  4. Mayor Janice Mironov Issues Proclamation For June 4 National Gun Violence Awareness Day to Moms Demand Action, Mercer County. The Mayoral Proclamation notes that, "more than 100 Americans are killed by gun violence every day, in addition to another 230 who are shot and wounded. Yearly, an average of 13,000 gun homicides occur in the United States, and New Jersey has the 47th highest rate of gun deaths in the country with 445 every year and a rate of 5 deaths per 100,000 people. Protecting public safety in the communities they serve is the highest responsibility of local elected officials and law enforcement, who are best positioned to understand how to keep their citizens safe". Coalition grassroots organization Moms Demand Action is encouraging citizens to "Wear Orange" on June 4 to remember victims of gun violence, help raise awareness about gun violence, and encourage responsible gun ownership to help keep all of our citizens and children safer.
