  1. REMINDER: East Windsor Dog Owners Must Secure or Renew Licenses By January 31. All dogs seven months of age and older are required to be licensed. An additional late fee of $1.00 per month will be charged after January 31. Rabies vaccination must be valid through November 1, 2021 to obtain a 2021 dog license. Dog License applications are available from the Municipal Clerk’s Office or the Township website (CLICK HERE) and can be mailed or dropped off to the Municipal Building.   2. Chipotle Mexican Grill Restaurant Approved by Township Planning Board to Locate in the Former Capital One Bank Building Pad Site in East Windsor Town Center Plaza on Route 130 Northbound. Chipotle, expected to open later this year, will modernize and reconfigure the space into a 2,746 square foot restaurant, which will be one of their first locations to have a pick up window utilizing a mobile ordering Chipotle App which will provide for ordering, payment and a pick up time. Chipotle Mexican Grill is an American-based casual restaurant chain specializing in tacos and made-to-order Mission burritos. The first Chipotle Mexican Grill opened in 1993 in Denver, Colorado and has since expanded its chain of restaurants to over 2,600 locations worldwide. The Chipotle menu includes burritos, burrito bowls, lifestyle bowls, salads, kids meals, tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa, and queso.
  3. East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Encourage Citizens to Volunteer for Township Boards and Committees in the New Year. Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. Residents interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the municipal clerk or can fill out this form (CLICK HERE) and return by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303, or by drop off or mail to Mayor Janice S.   4. High School Students Are Invited to Serve as Student Members of East Windsor Township Boards and Commissions. The boards and commissions included in the student program are Commission on Aging, Clean Communities Committee, Economic Development Commission, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Committee and Recreation Commission, as well as the East Windsor Green Team and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. High school students who wish to be considered can obtain a volunteer application form from the municipal clerk (CLICK HERE) or submit a letter indicating their area of interest and reasons or related background by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303 or by drop off or mail to Mayor Janice S.   5. CALENDAR: Stream Cleanup Co-Sponsored by The Watershed Institute and East Windsor Township on Saturday, April 24, from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Etra Lake Park, Rain or Shine. The Watershed Institute is still developing a detailed plan to ensure everyone's safety, with precautionary measures including required mask wearing, social distancing, provision of hand sanitizer and mandatory pre-registration in accordance with all state and federal guidelines. The full program will be shared when finalized by The Watershed Institute. A virtual clean-up option also will be offered by The Watershed Institute.
