  1. REMINDER: "National Night Out" Set for Tuesday, August 7, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor PAL Complex, 30 Airport Road. This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, music, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. The event includes issuance of child identification cards, canine drug detection demonstrations, child inflatables including moon bounce and rock climbing wall, face painting, music and refreshments.   2. REMINDER: Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program, Sponsored by East Windsor Township and Funded by $7,000 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, Continues on Tuesday, August 7, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at East Windsor P.A.L. complex, 30 Airport Road (during National Night Out). The 2018 Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program is designed to ensure motorists are properly securing their children in child seats as required by State law. Interested residents, at no cost, can have their child seats inspected for proper fit and installation in their vehicles and receive educational materials regarding current child restraint laws. An additional session will take place on Thursday, September 13, from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the East Windsor Police/Court Building, 80 One Mile Road.
  3. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS: Mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills Due August 1 Has Been DELAYED Due to Adoption of the New Jersey State Budget and State Budget Changes to School Funding. The Township has received the certified tax rate from Mercer County and the final 2018 tax bills are being prepared for mailing. Taxpayers can now view their tax bills on the Township website and can pay through the Township on-line system or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bills. The due date for third quarter taxes due will be extended by 25 days after the bills are mailed, with no further grace period. Once the specific date is known, it will be posted on the website and via the Township E-News. Any questions, contact the Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 231.
  4. East Windsor Holds "Real Diamond" Tribute to Neil Diamond Concert on Sunday, August 12 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. This 11-piece professional band is dedicated to the faithful re-creation of the live Neil Diamond experience. The band's renditions of many of his greatest hits will include: "Cherry Cherry", "Holly, Holy", Kentucky Woman", "Cracklin Rosie", "Sweet Caroline", "America", "Love on the Rocks", and many more. All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses. If inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors to the Melvin H. Kreps Middle School auditorium. In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  5. East Windsor Holds "The Infernos" Concert on Sunday, August 26 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. The Infernos, America's #1 Show Band and the area's premier live performance group, has been on the music scene since 1977. Enjoy four decades music, from "Barry White", "Earth Wind and Fire" and "Sinatra" to today's hot sounds of "Bruno Mars", "Robin Thicke" and Taylor Swift." All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses. If inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors to the Melvin H.   6. Improvements to Maple Stream Road between Brooktree Road and Oak Creek Road and Heathwood Drive between Maple Stream Road and Dutch Neck Road Are Ongoing with Concrete Repairs to Curbs, Aprons and Handicapped Ramps. Thereafter, the roadway will be milled and paved, and the entire project will be completed by the end of August. The project is being performed by low bidder, S. Brothers, Inc. of South River, New Jersey. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 A.M. to 5 P.M.
