East Windsor Township Remembers the 19th Anniversary of 9/11. We Remember and Honor the Memories of Township Residents and All Those Who Were Lost on that Tragic Day. We Remember and Honor All those First Responders and Heroes Who Stepped Forward to Help and Serve. And We Rededicate Ourselves to Community Service and to Promote and Preserve Our Nation's Treasured Values and Institutions.

  1. REMINDER: Mercer County Hazardous Waste Collection and Electronics Recycling Event Will Be Held on Friday, September 18, from 12 P.M. to 5 P.M. and Saturday, September 19, from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M., rain or shine, at the John T. Dempster Fire School, located at 350 Lawrence Station Road in Lawrence Township. No registration is required, just proof of Mercer County residency. Residents can dispose of aerosol cans, used motor oil, propane gas tanks, pesticides, herbicides, car batteries, paint thinner, oil based paints, gasoline, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, insect repellants, mercury, and fluorescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. Used electronic equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, stereos, televisions, and microwaves will be accepted. Material will be accepted only if compliance with County Covid-19 protocol: one person limit per vehicle, remain in vehicles, disposal items must be in trunk or back of vehicle, and containers will not be returned.   2. Novitium Pharma Breaks Ground on 17,760 Square Foot Expansion of Existing 35,963 Square Foot Facility on Lake Drive. The expansion, expected to add up to ten new jobs to the current 60 person workforce, will accommodate the installation of state-of-the-art technological pharmaceutical testing equipment to enable the development of affordable prescription medications and products, in addition to their current generic pharmaceutical research, manufacturing and distribution operations. Novitium Pharma, founded in 2016, specializes in developing and manufacturing generic forms of drugs in dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, oral/topical liquids and creams. In addition to developing and manufacturing generic drugs, Novitium Pharma markets directly to major retailers such as CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid.

  3. East Windsor Mayor Mironov and Council Members Partner with Greenhill Pharmacy to Offer Flu Clinics to Residents 60 Years and Over. The flu clinics, scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 from 9 A.M. to 12 noon and Thursday, October 1 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M., are by appointment only. The flu clinics will be conducted as a drive up event at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). For additional information and to make an appointment for the flu clinics, call the Township Health Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 222 before Wednesday, September 23.
  4. East Windsor Township Will Hold Document Shredding and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, October 3 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., Rain or Shine, at the East Windsor Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). NO OTHER DROP-OFFS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT. This Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members, will offer Free document shredding to East Windsor residents (no commercial drop-offs are permitted), with a limit of ten boxes per household. Electronics Recycling is limited to only televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, fax machines, cell phones, VCR's, cable boxes and telephones. All drop off shall be "Contact-less" and residents must remain in their vehicles at all times. Trained staff wearing masks and gloves will remove items from the trunk and rear seat of the vehicle.
