  1. CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATES (CLICK HERE)
  2. REMINDER: All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED and No Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Monday, May 25 due to the Memorial Day holiday. Residents of Area #1, who would normally have garbage collection on Monday, May 25, will be collected on Tuesday, May 26. Effective Monday, June 1, ALL Township curbside collection services will be restored. For complete and current information (CLICK HERE).
  3. REMINDER: Second Quarter Tax Bills Are Due on or Before June 1, or per state law, interest shall be charged on any unpaid amounts from May 1. We ask that property taxes be paid ONLINE, or by CHECK, or by MONEY ORDER, and to make CASH PAYMENTS when it is your ONLY option.
    • PAY ONLINE: by e-check or debit card or credit card, 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the Township website at www.east-windsor.nj.us/pay-a-tax-bill. Online payments are subject to a convenience fee of $1.05 for e-check payments, and 2.95% for all other credit and debit card payments. This service also allows a taxpayer online access to the current year's tax bill as well as their tax account history for the prior three years..
    • MAIL: to East Windsor Municipal Building, Attn: Tax Office, 16 Lanning Blvd., East Windsor, NJ 08520-1999. If a receipt is required, include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
    • DROP-OFF BOX: located outside the East Windsor Municipal Building, 16 Lanning Boulevard.
    • CASH PAYMENTS: will be accepted on the following dates and times at the East Windsor Police/Court Building, located at 80 One Mile Road:
      - Wednesday, May 27 (1 P.M - 3 P.M.)
      - Monday, June 1 (11 A.M - 1 P.M.)
    • NOTE: The Homestead Credit initially authorized has been rescinded by the State of New Jersey, and no Homestead Credit will be issued for the May 2020 tax quarter. For more information, contact the Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 231.
  4. East Windsor Township Awarded $4,193 State Grant For Police Body Armor. The $4,193 grant from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice State Body Armor Replacement Fund Program is used to supplement Township expenditures for the periodic replacement of body armor issued to and used by Township police.
  5. East Windsor Township is Preparing to Present Preliminary Concept Plans for the Union Transportation Trail Extension at a Virtual Public Meeting, Tentatively Set for Wednesday, June 3 at 6 P.M. Township officials and the Township-retained engineer, Hopewell Valley Engineering, will share preliminary concept plans, funded by a $135,000 grant from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. The Union Transportation Trail currently runs for approximately 9 miles from the Ocean County/Monmouth County line near Crosswicks Creek Park to the Monmouth County/Mercer County border in the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area near the intersection of Old York Road (County Route 539) and Sharon Road. The proposed Township trail extension, approximately 3-1/2 miles long, would cross Old York Road, run through Township open space, pass over the New Jersey Turnpike at Windsor-Perrineville Road, then cross Woods Road and Conover Road, and terminate at Airport Road near the intersection with Route 33. East Windsor Township has been awarded a $450,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation for construction of the Union Transportation Trail Extension.   6. The June 2 Primary Election Was Rescheduled by the State to Tuesday, July 7. The last day to register to vote in the Primary Election is Tuesday, June 16. Voter registration forms can be obtained at the main entrance foyer in the municipal building or on-line at www.njelections.org. In accordance with Executive Order No. 144 (CLICK HERE) signed by Governor Murphy on May 15, 2020, Vote by Mail Ballots will automatically be sent to all "Active" registered Democrats and Republican voters without the need for a application to receive a vote-by-mail ballot and Vote by Mail Applications will be sent to "Active" voters who are registered as "Unaffiliated." All vote-by-mail return envelopes and vote-by-mail applications will have prepaid postage. A limited number of polling places will be available on Primary Election Day to vote by provisional ballot and for any voter with disabilities to vote on an ADA-accessible voting machine.
  7. 2020 CENSUS QUESTIONNAIRE REMINDER. Residents are strongly urged to participate in the 2020 Census. Participating in the Census count is fast and easy. Visit the Census website at my2020Census.gov or call the 2020 Census toll-free at (844) 330-2020 to complete the short census questionnaire. Remember, U.S. Census information is confidential, and an accurate count will be used to direct billions of dollars in federal and state funds to our state and local community and to determine political districts for Congress and state legislature.
