  1. Council Members Denise Daniels, Alan Rosenberg and Perry M. Shapiro, Re-Elected in November 2017 Election, Were Sworn into New Terms on Monday, January 1, at the Township Annual Reorganization Meeting.  Mayor Janice S. Mironov began another term, and John Zoller was selected as Deputy Mayor for 2018.


    Assemblyman Daniel Benson administers the oath of office to re-elected Council Member Denise Daniels while son Adam and daughter Marissa holds the Bible.


    Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo administers the oath of office to re-elected Council Member Alan Rosenberg while his friend Susan Strober holds the Bible.


    Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler administers the oath of office to re-elected Council Member Perry M. Shapiro while his friend Linda Moore holds the Bible.


    Senator Linda Greenstein administers the oath of office to Mayor Janice S. Mironov while Township Attorney David Orron holds the Bible.

  2. Volunteers on Township Committees Were Honored at the Annual Reorganization Meeting for Their Service to East Windsor Township and provided with Certificates of Appreciation by Mayor Janice S. Mironov.  Congratulations and thank you to the Township's outstanding volunteers!

  3. East Windsor Township 2018 New Year's Food Drive Continues through January 31.  Mayor Janice S Mironov and Council Members are asking area residents and businesses to drop off donated non-perishable food items at the East Windsor Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard) during business hours, the East Windsor Police/Court Building (80 One Mile Road) 24/7, or at the East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 (69 Twin Rivers Drive).  The food drive will benefit the food pantries of RISE and St. Anthony's Church, area-based organizations that provide assistance to local individuals and families.
  4. Annual Windsor-Hightstown Area Ministerium (WHAM) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Will Be Held on Sunday, January 14 at 7 p.m., at First Methodist Church, at 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown.  The program will be followed by light refreshments.
  5. REMINDER:   All Dog Licenses Are Required to be Renewed by January 31.  All dogs seven months of age or older are required to be licensed.  Rabies vaccines must be valid through November 1, 2018 in order to obtain a 2018 license.  For information, contact the Municipal Clerk's office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 237.
  6. East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Encourage Citizens to Volunteer for Township Boards and Committees.  Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse.  Residents interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the municipal clerk or can fill out this form (CLICK HERE) and return by email to clerk@east-windsor.nj.us, by fax to (609) 443-8303, or by mail to Mayor Janice S.   7. ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:   Volunteer Opportunity in Television Broadcasting Available.  If you are interested in broadcasting and would like hands-on training on a live, local television program, opportunities are available to work with the award winning "Spotlight East Windsor" program, one hour every other Wednesday night, at the East Windsor Municipal Building.  Volunteers will learn camera techniques, audio, lighting, video switching, videotape operation and much more.  Interested individuals should contact the Municipal Clerk’s office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 237 and provide your name and contact information.
  8. No Township Curbside Garbage Collection Will Occur on Monday, January 15 and All Township Offices Will Be CLOSED due to the holiday.  Residents of Area #1, who would normally have garbage collection on Monday, January 15, are to put their garbage out on the next regularly scheduled collection date which is Thursday, January 18.  Public works schedules can be viewed on the Township website at www.east-windsor.nj.us.
