  1. East Windsor Holds Jersey Sound Concert on Sunday, August 27 at 6 pm at Etra Lake Park.  These talented musicians, accented by dynamic vocalists and a great rhythm section, offer an eclectic blend of Oldies, 60’s Pop, Motown, and R&B.  All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 pm the day of the event.  In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors at the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School Auditorium.
  2. East Windsor Is Seeking Nominations for the 2017 Township Business Awards Program.  The purpose of the program is to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community.  The three categories of Township award recognition are:   (1) Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site;  (2) Community Service - providing for community contributions and service, and (3) Community Enhancement - providing some manner of community enhancement, for example, through extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity or any community value added aspect related to their business.  Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight.  Nomination forms are available at the Municipal Building and on-line at the Township website at (CLICK HERE).  The deadline for nominations is September 15.
  3. Roadway Improvements to Brooktree Road between Oak Creek Road and Amy Drive, Amy Drive, Lindenbrook Way, and Maple Stream Road between Amy Drive and Route 130 South Continue.  The concrete work and storm drain and pipe repairs are in progress.  Milling and paving are anticipated to begin in late August.
  4. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS:  Third Quarter Tax Payments Are Due No Later than September 1 Per State regulations, there is no further grace period and interest will accrue back to August 1 on tax bills not paid by September 1.    
  5. Ceremony for Anniversary of 9/11 Will Be Held on Monday, September 11 at 5:30 pm to remember and honor the anniversary of September 11.  The ceremony will take place at the existing 9/11 Memorial located on the grounds of the East Windsor Township Municipal Building, at 16 Lanning Boulevard. The public is welcome to join us.
