  1. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS:   Mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills Has Been Delayed Due to Late Adoption of the New Jersey State Budget and State Changes to School Funding.  Tax Bills Will Be Mailed on Approximately August 7.  Third Quarter Tax Payments Will Be Due September 1.  Per State Regulations, There Is No Further Grace Period and Interest Will Accrue Back to August 1 on Tax Bills Not Paid by September 1.
  2. REMINDER:   "National Night Out" Set for Tuesday, August 1, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the East Windsor PAL Complex, 30 Airport Road.  This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, music, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme. 
  3. REMINDER:   East Windsor Township Holds Additional Child Passenger - Car Safety Seat Inspection Event at "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 1, at the East Windsor PAL complex, 30 Airport Road, from 6 pm to 9 pm.   Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council, and the East Windsor Police Department are hosting this FREE  Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection for Township residents.  Participants will have their child seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials on how to safely and properly restrain  children passengers.  The final session in this program will take place on Thursday, September 14 from 3 pm to 8 pm, at the East Windsor Police/Court building at 80 One Mile Road.
  4. ALERT:   Milling and Paving of Cypress Drive between Spruce Road and Oak Creek Circle and Woodland Drive Between Oak Creek Road and Cypress Drive Is Commencing, and work completion is anticipated the week of July 31, weather permitting.  There will be some minor delays and inconvenience during this work, but the road will remain open during paving operations.  Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.  Residents in work areas should take note of any posted parking restrictions.
  5. ForDoz Pharma Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Facility Upgrades and Expansion, to their new site on Princeton Hightstown Road at One Mile Road, the former Lavipharm building.  ForDoz Pharma, which relocated from South Brunswick to this 52,281 square foot building on a 27 acre property, will be installing state-of-the-art equipment and instruments for its research and development, manufacturing and development of new drug delivery platforms proceeses.  ForDoz expects work to be completed in spring 2018, with a projected increase in employees from the current 17 up to 30 employees.

  6. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, August 5 at 7 pm at Etra Lake Park Featuring Movie "Sing!" on a Large-Screen.  Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, "Sing!" stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times.  Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.  Prior to the start of the movie, there will be inflatable rides, games, and vendors.   In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 pm the day of the event.
  7. East Windsor Holds Beginnings Concert on Sunday, August 13 at 6 pm at Etra Lake Park.  The ultimate tribute to the group "Chicago" -- the music of the electrifying horn section and the talented vocalists will feel like an authentic Chicago concert.  All of the free summer concert and family night series is made possible by the generous donations of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 pm the day of the event.  In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the East Windsor Regional School District Hightstown High School Auditorium.
