  1. REMINDER:   East Windsor Holds "Endless Summer" a Beach Boys Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  "The East Coast Ultimate Beach Boys Tribute Band” recreates the Beach Boys’ unforgettable melodies and harmonies.  This 5 piece group captures the essence of the 60’s and will perform Beach Boys favorites including Surfer Girl, Little Deuce Coupe, Good Vibrations, Help Me Rhonda, Kokomo and many more!  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.

  2. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, August 24 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Ralph Breaks the Internet."  Rain date is Sunday, August 25.  This 3D computer-animated film stars video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz who must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, "Sugar Rush.”  Prior to the start of the movie, there will be inflatable rides, games, dancing and a DJ.  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  3. REMINDER:   Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,000 NJ Highway Traffic Safety Grant, Will Hold Next Session on Thursday, August 22 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the East Windsor police/court building (80 One Mile Road).  The FREE Child Passenger Safety Seat inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws.  An additional session will be held at the East Windsor police/court building (80 One Mile Road) on Friday, September 13 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  4. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS:   Mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills Due August 1 Was DELAYED due to the delayed adoption of the Mercer County budget.  Tax bills have been mailed and the due date for third quarter taxes is August 29 Per state regulations, there is no further grace period and interest will accrue back to August 1 on tax bills not paid by August 29.  Taxpayers can view their tax bills on the Township website (CLICK HERE) and can pay through the Township on-line system or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bill.  Contact the Township Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 231 with any questions.  (CLICK HERE) to view additional information regarding the 2019 Tax Rate.

  5. ALERT:   Replacement of a County Bridge on Old Trenton Road, between One Mile Road and Millstone Road, by Mercer County Has Begun, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2019, weather dependent.  The bridge is CLOSED 24 hours a day seven days a week  (including weekends) to all thru traffic during construction.  Local access to residences and businesses on each side of the bridge will be maintained during the project.  Detours have been posted.  Work is being performed by county contractor Marbro, Inc. of Montclair, NJ.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.
  6. Ceremony for Anniversary of 9/11 Will Be Held on Wednesday, September 11 at 5:30 P.M. to remember and honor the anniversary of September 11.  The ceremony will take place at the existing 9/11 Memorial located on the grounds of the East Windsor Township Municipal Building, at 16 Lanning Boulevard.  The public is welcome to join us. 
  7. East Windsor Is Seeking Nominations for the 2019 Township Business Awards Program.  The purpose of the program is to recognize local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community.  The three categories of Township award recognition are:   (1) Business Beautification - creating an attractive appearance, for example, through landscaping, flowers, and other enhancements to their structures and site;  (2) Community Service - providing for community contributions and service, and (3) Community Enhancement - providing some manner of community enhancement, for example, through extraordinary job creation, an unusual or special product or opportunity or any community value added aspect related to their business.  Green and sustainable practices, for example, green products, energy conservation, reduction of waste and energy consumption are encouraged and will be given more weight.  Nomination forms are available at the Municipal Building and on-line at the Township website at (CLICK HERE).  The deadline for nominations is September 20.
