  1. REMINDER:   East Windsor Holds "The Mahoney Brothers" Long Live the Beatles Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 11 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  "Long Live the Beatles”, the longest running Beatles show in the country, is a tribute to one of the greatest musical groups of all time.  “The Mahoney Brothers” recreate the sights and sounds of the Beatles from 1962 to 1970 and many all-time song favorites highlighting their performances include: I Want to Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, With a Little Help From My Friends, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Hey Jude, Let it Be and The Fool on the Hill.  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.


    The audience enjoyed the music and a relaxing evening at the recent concert at Etra Lake Park as Danny V's 52nd Street Band performed a Tribute to Billy Joel.
  2. East Windsor Holds "Endless Summer" a Beach Boys Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  "The East Coast Ultimate Beach Boys Tribute Band” recreates the Beach Boys’ unforgettable melodies and harmonies.  This 5 piece group captures the essence of the 60’s and will entertain you with favorites including Surfer Girl, Little Deuce Coupe, Good Vibrations, Help Me Rhonda, Kokomo and many more!  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  3. ALERT:   Replacement of a County Bridge on Old Trenton Road, between One Mile Road and Millstone Road, by Mercer County Has Begun, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2019, weather dependent.  The bridge is CLOSED 24 hours a day seven days a week  (including weekends) to all thru traffic during construction.  Local access to residences and businesses on each side of the bridge will be maintained during the project.  Detours have been posted.  Work is being performed by county contractor Marbro, Inc. of Montclair, NJ.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.
  4. Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,000 NJ Highway Traffic Safety Grant, Will Hold Next Session on Thursday, August 22 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the East Windsor police/court building (80 One Mile Road).  The FREE Child Passenger Safety Seat inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws.  An additional session will be held at the East Windsor police/court building (80 One Mile Road) on Friday, September 13 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  5. Mayor Janice S. Mironov and the Township Clean Communities Committee Award Dairy Queen with Certificate of Appreciation for Keeping East Windsor Township Litter FreeDairy Queen, a family business located at 545 Route 130 North and celebrating 55 years in East Windsor, was recognized as a commercial establishment situated in a highly visible prominent location, for keeping its property and building well maintained and landscaped and free of litter thereby enhancing the municipal appearance and environment.  The purpose of the award is to recognize a local business that has made special efforts to keep East Windsor Township litter free.

  6. East Windsor Holds "Family Night in the Park" on Saturday, August 24 at 7 P.M. at Etra Lake Park Featuring a Large Screen Showing of the Movie "Ralph Breaks the Internet."  This 3D computer-animated film stars video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz who must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, "Sugar Rush.”  Prior to the start of the movie, there will be inflatable rides, games, dancing and a DJ.  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  Rain date is Sunday, August 25.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  7. SPECIAL NOTICE ON TAX BILLS:   Mailing of Third Quarter Tax Bills Due August 1 Was DELAYED due to the delayed adoption of the Mercer County budget.  Tax bills have been mailed and the due date for third quarter taxes is August 29 Per state regulations, there is no further grace period and interest will accrue back to August 1 on tax bills not paid by August 29.  Taxpayers can view their tax bills on the Township website (CLICK HERE) and can pay through the Township on-line system or can await the receipt of the mailed tax bill.  Contact the Township Tax Office at (609) 443-4000, ext. 231 with any questions.  (CLICK HERE) to view additional information regarding the 2019 Tax Rate.

  8. East Windsor Township Celebrated "National Night Out" on August 6, attended by well over 2,000 people.  East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov issued and presented to East Windsor Neighborhood Crime Watch volunteer members a Mayoral Proclamation stating, "National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and foremost send a strong message to criminals letting them know that the community and police have joined together in fighting crime."  The event is held annually to demonstrate the commitment of East Windsor Township in promoting a cooperative partnership between police, local government and citizens to vigilance and crime prevention throughout the East Windsor community.
