  1. ALERT:   Mercer County Will Begin Replacement of a County Bridge on Old Trenton Road, between One Mile Road and Millstone Road, on or about Thursday, August 1, and is  expected to be completed by October 31, 2019, weather dependent.  The bridge will be CLOSED 24 hours a day seven days a week  (including weekends) to all thru traffic during construction.  Local access to residences and businesses on each side of the bridge will be maintained during the project.  Detours will be posted.  Work will be performed by county contractor Marbro, Inc. of Montclair, NJ.  Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.
  2. Improvements to Cypress Drive from Meadowbrook Road to One Mile Road South and Spruce Road Have Been Completed except for remaining punch list items to be addressed by the contractor.
  3. Join Us at East Windsor "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the East Windsor PAL Complex, 30 Airport Road.  This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police James Geary, features crime watch information, emergency services equipment, music, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme.  Area community groups and businesses who wish to offer support, participate or host a booth can contact Det.   4. Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Initiative, Funded by $6,000 NJ Highway Traffic Safety Grant, Will Hold Next Session on Tuesday, August 6 at the Township National Night Out event at the East Windsor PAL Complex (30 Airport Road) from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.  The FREE Child Passenger Safety Seat inspections for Township residents, hosted by Mayor Janice S. Mironov, Members of Council and the police department, are to promote child passenger safety. Participants will have their child seats inspected to ensure proper installation and will receive educational materials regarding current state child restraint laws.  Additional sessions will be held at the East Windsor Police/Court building (80 One Mile Road) on Thursday, August 22, and Friday, September 13 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.
  5. East Windsor Holds "Danny V's 52nd Street Band" Tribute to Billy Joel Concert on Sunday, July 28 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  Danny V’s 52nd Street Band, a full-scale 6 piece group recreating the performances of the “Piano Man” …Billy Joel, offers the best of Billy Joel, covering his entire career from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.  As the longest running tribute to Billy Joel, performances often include many of the greatest hits like We Didn’t Start the Fire, Uptown Girl, Movin’ Out, New York State of Mind, Only The Good Die Young, An Innocent Man and You May be Right.  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.

East Windsor Holds "The Mahoney Brothers" Long Live the Beatles Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 11 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  "Long Live the Beatles”, the longest running Beatles show in the country, is a tribute to one of the greatest musical groups of all time.  “The Mahoney Brothers” recreate the sights and sounds of the Beatles from 1962 to 1970 and many all-time song favorites highlighting their performances include: I Want to Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, With a Little Help From My Friends, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Hey Jude, Let it Be and The Fool on the Hill.  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  7. CALENDAR  East Windsor Holds "Endless Summer" a Beach Boys Tribute Concert on Sunday, August 18 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park.  "The East Coast Ultimate Beach Boys Tribute Band” recreates the Beach Boys’ unforgettable melodies and harmonies.  This 5 piece group captures the essence of the 60’s and will entertain you with favorites including Surfer Girl, Little Deuce Coupe, Good Vibrations, Help Me Rhonda, Kokomo and many more!  These free events are made possible through the generous contributions of many area businesses.  In the event of questionable weather, call the East Windsor Information Hotline at (609) 443-4000, ext. 400 after 1 P.M. the day of the event.
  8. Mercer County Park Commission Is Conducting an Online Survey to receive input from County residents as part of the planning and design process on the development of a new recreation park at Dam Site 21.  The site, located on Old Trenton Road across from Mercer County Community College, contains 370-acres along Miry Run which flows into the Delaware River and includes a lake, undeveloped uplands, wetlands, woodlands, and open fields.  Residents are encouraged to provide their input to this County recreational project.  (CLICK HERE) for the online survey.  Additional information is available online (CLICK HERE) or by contacting Sarah Leeper at sleeper@simonecollins.com or (610) 239-7601.
