1. IMPORTANT UPDATE: DATE CHANGE TO SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 at 9 A.M. Due to Weather Forecasts, Saturday, September 26 IS CANCELLED. Mayor Mironov and the East Windsor Health Advisory Board Invite Residents to Participate in the Second Mayors Wellness Walk and Talk NOW scheduled for Saturday, October 3 at Etra Lake Park (9 Disbrow Hill Road).The walk will start at Etra Lake Park Pathway, which is approximately one mile in length, and may be walked multiple times at the discretion of participants. The Mayors Wellness Walk was the kick-off activity after the Township joined the Mayors Wellness Campaign, an initiative sponsored by the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute. The Wellness Walk tag line is, "Take a walk. Meet your neighbors. Feel better together." The goal of the Walk and Talk is to make health and wellness approachable for residents of all ages and abilities by encouraging regular movement, social interaction, and active participation in the East Windsor community.
   
   

2. Tandoori Pizza Celebrates Grand Opening in Town Center ("Burlington Center") on Route 130 South. Tandoori Pizza is a Indian-fusion pizza restaurant combining traditional Indian spices and marinades with classic American pizza craftsmanship. While Tandoori Pizza has a line of “the classic” pizzas with red tomato sauce, such as cheese, original margherita and vegetarian, it offers fusion pizzas with marinated paneer and a thicker cottage cheese mixed with spices, including tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chili paneer and spicy garden delight. Tandoori Pizza, founded in Dublin, California, commenced franchising in 2015 and has since expanded to 7 states with 29 locations including the first and only New Jersey Tandoori Pizza in East Windsor. 3. East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov will present the 2026 State of Township Address on Thursday, October 8 at 5 PM at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard). Mayor Mironov will provide an overview of major Township accomplishments, current initiatives and future priorities, including new business and commercial developments, municipal finances, recreation and open space, roadway and infrastructure improvements, environmental initiatives, and other topics of community interest. Mayor Mironov extends a warm invitation to members of the business community, professionals, community organizations and all interested residents to attend the State of the Township Address. The Mayor’s State of the Township event on Thursday, October 8 begins with networking at 5:00 PM, and the formal program begins promptly at 5:45 PM. Light refreshments will be served. 3. The Place at East Windsor, Located at 300C Princeton Hightstown Road, Is Accepting Pre-Applications for New Affordable Income Restricted Apartments. The new apartments, of one, two and three bedrooms, include private entrances and modern amenities. Preliminary applications will be accepted through October 26. 4. East Windsor Offers Free Flu Clinics on Thursday, October 1 from 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and on Thursday, October 22 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Township Senior Center (40 Lanning Boulevard), for East Windsor and Hightstown residents 60 years and older. The vaccinations are by appointment only, by calling the Township Health Department at (609) 443-4000, ext. 422.
