July 24, 2026 East Windsor Holds "The Verdict" Concert on Saturday, July 25 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. Specializing in Caribbean-inspired Soca and Reggae music, The Verdict brings tropical rhythms and entertainment designed to keep audiences on their feet. The Verdict has performed venues as varied as Stone Pony in Asbury Park to the NFL Owners Meeting at the Super Bowl in Miami. They have also done municipal shows for Bradley Beach, East Brunswick, Stafford Township, Piscataway, Cinnaminson Township and Essex County this year. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Melvin H. Kreps School auditorium (5 Kent Lane, East Windsor).  East Windsor Holds "El Ka Bong" Concert on Sunday, August 2 at 6 P.M. at Etra Lake Park. From chart-topping hits to classic favorites, El Ka Bong brings a dynamic and electrifying performance to every event. El Ka Bong plays music across all genres and eras but considers themselves a “Modern Rock” band. The group is popular in Mercer and Monmouth County with regular appearances at Nottingham Tavern, Coopers Riverview, The Roost, and Pete’s Tavern. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Melvin H. Kreps School auditorium (5 Kent Lane, East Windsor).
 East Windsor Officials Will Be Hosting "National Night Out" Community Celebration on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road). This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police Jason Hart, features displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, DJ provided music and refreshments. Youth games and activities will feature jumping/climbing inflatables, a climbing obstacle course, face painting and air brush tattoos. Grant-Funded Roadway Improvements to Abbington Drive, Lake Drive and Portions of Milford Road are Scheduled to Begin on or about Monday, August 3. The project is underwritten by two NJDOT grants totaling $1,425,781, successfully applied for by the Mayor and Council. The project includes the milling and resurfacing of Abbington Drive, Lake Drive and portions of Milford Road, as well as other associated improvements as necessary to concrete curbing and aprons, handicap ramps, and drainage. These roads are major connector roadways in the Township used extensively by residents and businesses connecting to Route 33 and in need of improvements. The project contract was awarded to low-bidder P & A Construction Inc. of Colonia, New Jersey. The roadway improvements are anticipated to be completed within eight weeks, weather permitting.
