  1. LAST CALL: Mayor Mironov and the East Windsor Health Advisory Board Invite Residents to Participate in the Community Walk and Talk on June 6, at 9 A.M. at Etra Lake Park (9 Disbrow Hill Road). Mayor Janice Mironov and the East Windsor Health Advisory Board invite residents to participate in the Community Walk and Talk on Saturday, June 6, at 9 A.M. (rain date June 13) at Etra Lake Park (9 Disbrow Hill Road) as part of Mayor's Wellness Campaign. The Mayors Wellness Walk is the kick-off activity after the Township joined the Mayors Wellness Campaign, an initiative sponsored by the New Jersey Health Care Quality. The walk will be at the Etra Lake Park Pathway, which is approximately one mile in length and can be walked multiple times at the discretion of the participant. The Wellness Walk tag line is “Take a walk. Meet your neighbors. Feel better together.” Walk and Talk is a community wellness initiative designed to encourage physical activity, promote overall health, and strengthen connections among residents. Through a relaxed Saturday morning walk, participants are invited to enjoy a simple, accessible form of exercise while engaging in conversation, meeting neighbors, and supporting a shared commitment to community well-being. The goal of the Walk and Talk is to make health and wellness approachable for residents of all ages and abilities by encouraging regular movement, social interaction, and active participation in the East Windsor community.   2. Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members Issue Proclamation Recognizing "National Gun Violence Awareness Day" -- June 5, to Moms Demand Action, Mercer County. The Mayoral Proclamation notes, "Americans are 26 times more likely to die by gun homicide than people in other higher-income nations. The Township renews our commitment to reduce gun violence, and pledge to do all we can to keep firearms out of the wrong hands, and encourage responsible gun ownership to help keep all of our citizens and children safer." Moms Demand Action is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness about the impacts of gun violence and keeping families safe.

    East Windsor Township Mayor and Council Members join with members of Mercer County Moms Demand Action to proclaim June 5 as "National Gun Violence Awareness Day" and encourage residents to "Wear Orange" as a means to honor and remember all victims and survivors of gun violence and to recommit ourselves to doing all that we can to reduce the impacts of senseless gun violence in our community and in our nation, through responsible ownership and use of guns.   3. June 2 Primary Election Results for Mercer County Are Available on the Mercer County Clerk website (CLICK HERE).
  4. Mercer County Hazardous Waste Collection and Electronics Recycling Event Will Be Held on Saturday, June 13, from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M., rain or shine, at the John T. Dempster Fire School, located at 350 Lawrence Station Road in Lawrence Township. No registration is required, just proof of Mercer County residency. Residents can dispose of aerosol cans, used motor oil, propane gas tanks, pesticides, herbicides, car batteries, paint thinner, oil-based paints, stains and varnishes, gasoline, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, insect repellents, and fluorescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. Used electronic equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, stereos, televisions, and microwaves will be accepted.
