May 8, 2026 - Congressman Herb Conaway Is Hosting an In-Person Town Hall Meeting in East Windsor on Monday, May 11, from 7:00 P.M to 8:30 P.M. at American Legion Post 148 (895 Route 130). - Township and Mercer County Will Hold Special Local Passport Day on Thursday, May 14 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the East Windsor Municipal Building (16 Lanning Boulevard). Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello are sponsoring this special Passport Day locally at which the Mercer County Clerk’s Office will process United States passport applications on-site for residents. Residents may show up, but are strongly encouraged to call (609) 989-6473 to reserve a specific appointment time. To apply, residents will need: (1) proof of U.S. citizenship in the form of a state certified birth certificate, a U.S. naturalization certificate or a previous U.S. passport, and (2) proof of identity in the form of a current driver’s license or state issued identification card. The cost of the passport is $130 for adults, and $100 for minors, plus a processing fee of $35. Passport photos can be taken on-site if needed for $15 or $10 for senior citizens.  - Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program Funded by $12,200 Grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Continues on Friday, May 15, from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at The Learning Experience (761 Route 33). The Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection Program is designed to ensure motorists are properly securing their children in child seats as required by State law. Interested residents can have their child seats inspected for proper fit and installation in their vehicles and will receive educational materials regarding current child restraint laws. - East Windsor Officials Will Be Hosting "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the East Windsor P.A.L. Complex (30 Airport Road). This annual fun educational Township event, sponsored by Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with Chief of Police Jason Hart, features displays of emergency services equipment, canine drug detection demonstrations, booths and displays by area groups and businesses with information and giveaways supporting the National Night Out theme, DJ provided music and refreshments. Youth games and activities will feature jumping/climbing inflatables, climbing obstacle course, face painting and air brush tattoos. - Mercer County Free Food Finder Directory available to help those dealing with food insecurity. The Free Food Finder is maintained by the Trenton Health Team as part of an effort to improve health equity in our region. The directory lists meal sites, food pantries, and meal distribution sites serving children, families, seniors and adults.
