November 14, 2025 - Island Table Opens in Windsor Corporate Park at 50 Millstone Road in Building 100 off of Old Trenton Road. Island Table, a Caribbean fusion restaurant previously operating at the Trenton farmers market as "Kafe Kreyol," offers a Caribbean-inspired menu, with main dishes such as jerk chicken, island salmon, Haitian stewed chicken, various sandwiches and wraps, fresh juices and mocktails, which include a variety of vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options. The restaurant has dine-in services, take-out, and catering. Current hours are Monday through Friday 10 A.M. to 6 P.M., Saturday 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Sunday 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Citizens can apply to serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. - High School Students Invited to Serve as Student Members of East Windsor Township Boards and Commissions. The boards and commissions included in the program are Commission on Aging, Clean Communities Committee, Economic Development Commission, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Committee and Recreation Commission, as well as the East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. - Annual Windsor-Hightstown Area Ministerium (WHAM) Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service Will Be Held on Sunday, November 23 at 7 P.M. at St. Anthony of Padua, located at 156 Maxwell Ave, Hightstown. The public is welcome to attend.
- Final Township Fall Leaf Collection Passes Begin Monday, November 24. Leaf Collection for Area #1 AND Area #2 residents will begin on Monday, November 24 and end on Friday, December 12. The final passes will cover both areas through December 12 or until the first significant snowfall. In prior years, additional passes were made through both areas due to a very successful program and very cooperative weather conditions. Public Works will strive to continue making extra passes in 2025. Leaves may not be put out after Tuesday, December 9 to allow crews to finish the final pass by December 12.
