The positions include camp supervisors, camp counselors, before and after camp care staff, swim instructors, lifeguards, and (non-paying) counselors-in-training. SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK/MUNICIPAL COURT
East Windsor Township , Mercer County. Full-time position. Works one evening court per week. Substantial public interaction. Requires computer skills. Works under direction of municipal court administrator and rules of the courts. Responsibilities include preparation of court lists, court forms, preparing criminal complaints and for other violations, preparing warrants, scheduling cases, handling public stop-ins and phone calls and correspondence, maintaining records, and other assigned tasks. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR/BUSINESS OMBUDSMAN
Position requires strong analytical, project management, excellent writing, computer and interpersonal communication skills. Responsibilites include serving as Business Ombudsman, coordinating special projects and grant programs. Oversees Bus Program grant reports and requirements, assisting with Open Space program and affordable housing program. Arranges for publicity for Township events, assists with Township newsletter and provides support to the Economic Developemnt Committee. Four year College degree, preferably in public administration and minimum three years experience in a government related position. SEASONAL EMPLOYEE – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
40-hour work week, working outdoors, performing manual heavy labor in all weather conditions. Limited employment durations and release at the end of the season is expected. PROBATIONARY POLICE OFFICER
The East Windsor Township Police Department is currently seeking candidates for the position of Probationary Police Officer. Following are the requirements of the position:
- Be a citizen of the United States of America
- Be a resident of the State of New Jersey at time of appointment
- Be more than 21 and less than 35 years of age at time of appointment
- Be sound in body and of good health sufficient to satisfy the Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System of New Jersey that such person is eligible to membership in the retirement system
- Be able to read, write and speak the English language well and intelligently
- Be of good moral character and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude
- Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license
