Programs start the week of January 23rd unless otherwise noted. Classes are not held on school holidays or half-days. Also, when the East Windsor Regional School District closes due to inclement weather or for any other reason, our programs are canceled as well. Canceled classes will be made up at the end of the semester. No refunds will be granted once a program has begun. Programs with insufficient enrollment will be canceled. Therefore, we strongly encourage early registration to avoid a situation whereby we cancel the program, then additional people express an interest, but it’s too late!

PLEASE BE SURE TO INFORM YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER THAT HE/SHE IS ENROLLED IN THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE BROUGHT TO THE PROGRAM & TO HAVE YOUR CHILD PICKED UP PROMPTLY AT THE END OF THE CLASS.

Mad Science (8 sessions)

Join us for 8 weeks of Amazing Fun in the Mad Science Lab experimenting with Lights, Color, Action & More!! All classes are filled with experiments that fizz, quake and boggle your minds! Children will have fun learning about optical illusions, build their very own color wheel and make their very own cotton candy! Come and get "Rocking!" with your friends this Winter! Classes fill quickly.

KidzArt Arts and Crafts (8 sessions)

Kidz Art - The weather outside may be frightful but a winter KidzArt class is so delightful! Join us this Winter session as we complete abstract, still life and persepctive drawings. Help a monkey celebrate Mardi Gras, join in a pillow fight with a cute puppy and be careful as you draw a car on a snowy road! This session is full of great mediums, awesome art techniques and creative expressions, come join us!

Computer Explorers (8 sessions)

BECOME A DISNEY©/PIXAR STUDIO ANIMATOR!
In this exciting class, Disney©/Pixar have asked CE Animation Studio to create a new animated movie idea with new characters and a brief script for the movie. Student animation teams will be creating an animation clip to be pre-sented to animation studios. Parents, imagine your child creating the E*Trade baby or clips for the movie "Cats &Dogs". Still pictures will be used as "models" that will be animated and programmed to speak a script created by our animation teams! Stu-dents will take home all clips created on their own jump drive and can be viewed on a private YouTube.com site. Just imagine making your dog sing the theme song of a movie you’ve created or how about your action hero narrating….the possibilities are endless! Course provided by COMPUTER EXPLORERS.

Bowling Lessons

A (20) twenty-week bowling program for children between the ages of 5 and 14, as well as adults, will be offered at East Windsor Lanes. The youth pro-gram will be offered on Wednesdays or Thursdays at 4:30pm beginning on February 15 or 16 and an Adult-Child program will be offered on Sundays at 6:00pm beginning on February 19th. Ski Tickets

The Recreation Department will have discount tickets to the local ski resorts for the winter 2011-12 season. Please contact the Recreation Office for further information.
