OTHER DISPOSAL SERVICES

East Windsor Township provides other disposal services to residents. The following items may be dropped off at the Ward Street Facility, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Used motor oil. No contaminated oil or other oil by-products can be accepted. Check your local newspaper for Mercer County's next Hazardous Waste Day.
Car batteries.
Standard size automobile tires, without rims. (NEW) Tires may no longer be dropped off on rims. Tires must be dismounted before drop off.
No commercial tires are accepted. Dealers, garages or other businesses may not drop off tires at this site.
Residents who pick up tires for a fee may not dispose of tires at Ward Street. Tire drop off is for personal disposal by residents only!

Mercer County Household Hazardous Waste Days are held three times per year. Dates for 2010 will be posted by the Mercer County Improvement Authority. The following products are accepted: insect repellents, pesticides/herbicides, weed killers, stains, varnishes, acids, caustics, paint, paint thinner, vehicle batteries, antifreeze, chlordane, pool chemicals, etc. The location of the drop-off is:
